Abstract

A netted skin for sausages consists of a network with hexagonal meshes. The four oblique legs of each hexagon consist of 2 textile threads, pref. cotton, linen or synthetic fibre which are wound in a spiral around a core. The core consists of 2 threads of an elastomer material, contg. pref. >=85% urethane. In the 2 vertical legs of each hexagon, these are combined to a core of 4 elastomer threads with a braiding of 4 textile threads. Diese Schrumpfung führt dazu, daß sich unter Verlust der Netzspannung das Netz lockert und die einzelnen Maschen nicht mehr ihre ursprüngliche Lage beibehalten, so daß das Netz verrutschen kann.
