Abstract

A roll of paper (1) has a self-adhesive surface on one side, and is inserted into a printer (5) which prints product information. The printed sectors are then torn off (4) in succession as labels (2) and are applied to esp. retail products. The self-adhesive roll of label paper (1) is linerless paper or plastic which bears an anti-stick coating on the side (6) to be printed, while the self-adhesive face has a partially self-coating layer (8,18,28,29). The adhesive face has adhesive-free longitudinal margins (7,17,27,10) to (25) mm wide. The self-adhesive face of the paper is wound facing the core of the roll. The printed face (6) under the anti-stick coating also has a thermo-sensitive coating for thermal printers.

12. Self-adhesive receipt roll according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the endless strip ( 50 ) is designed such that self-adhesive receipts ( 2 ) of any length can be separated.

13. Self-adhesive receipt roll according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that one or more adhesive-free areas ( 58 ) are arranged transversely to the longitudinal direction ( 56 ) of the endless strip ( 50 ).

14. Self-adhesive receipt roll according to claim 13, characterized in that the self-adhesive receipts ( 2 ) which can be separated from the endless strip have a uniform length.

21. Self-adhesive receipt roll according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a thermosensitive layer is arranged on the printable strip surface ( 6 ) under the non-stick layer.

22. Self-adhesive receipt roll according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the roll ( 1 ) is wound up in such a way that the strip surface ( 49 ) provided with the adhesive layer ( 8 ) lies in the direction of the interior of the roll.
