The present invention relates to a border for baked goods.

When baking, there is often the problem that when using a flat baking tray or one with a low edge, baked goods can accidentally run over the edge of the baking tray. This danger is particularly present when the baked goods are quite high.

The use of baking tins is generally known. However, a baking tin usually has a predetermined size. Therefore, the space provided in the oven cannot be used optimally, nor can it be adjusted to a currently desired size.

The invention is based on the object of creating a universally usable border for baked goods.

The above object is achieved by a border according to claim 1. Advantageous further developments are the subject of the subclaims.

A basic idea of the present invention is that the border does not have a base, but can be used together with an existing baking tray or similar. In addition, the border is designed to be adjustable in at least one direction of extension. The border is therefore universally applicable and can be optimally adapted to an existing baking tray or similar.

In addition, the adjustability also allows a reduction in the area provided by a baking tray or similar, if necessary, in order to adapt the baking pan formed from the baking tray and the attached border to the current requirements.

The border preferably has a considerable height of preferably more than 4 cm, in particular of about 5 cm. Accordingly, very high cakes, pizzas and the like can also be baked with the border.

In a preferred embodiment, the border has at least one partition wall that can be used as needed and allows the baking area delimited by the border to be divided. In this way, different baked goods, for example a cake and a pizza, can be baked simultaneously on the same baking tray, separated from one another in the border by the partition wall.

In order to increase universal usability, the partition wall is preferably movable or relocatable within the border in order to be able to make at least a virtually arbitrary division of the baking surface delimited by the border as required.

Further properties, features and advantages of the present invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing of a preferred embodiment. It shows:

Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a proposed border 1, which consists of sufficiently heat-resistant material to enable the border 1 to be used repeatedly during baking. In particular, the border 1 is placed on a baking tray or the like (not shown) in order to define or delimit an area on which baked goods, such as a cake and/or a pizza, are then baked.

The proposed border 1 is preferably made of dishwasher-safe material to enable easy cleaning.

Ideally, the border 1 is made of a dishwasher-safe metal, especially stainless steel, with sufficient heat resistance.

In the example shown, the border 1 has a substantially square or rectangular shape. This is advantageous with regard to the usually square or rectangular baking trays in order to be able to make optimal use of the baking surface provided by the baking tray or the like. However, other external contours are also possible, for example polygonal shapes, semi-circular shapes, oval shapes, circular shapes and the like, with possibly partially straight wall sections.

In the example shown, the border 1 has side walls 2 which can be extended telescopically for adjustment in at least one direction of extension of the border 1. In particular, the border 1 in the essentially rectangular shape shown here is adjustable in both its length and its width, with side walls 2 lying next to one another being telescopically extendable.

For mutual guidance of the side walls 2 which are adjacent or adjacent to one another in pairs, the upper and lower edge regions 3 of the side walls 2 are preferably overlapped or encompassed by guide tabs 4. In particular, the guide tabs 4 or other guide means are arranged or formed in the region of ends 5 of the side walls 2.

The schematic detail enlargement according to Fig. 2 illustrates a first embodiment variant in which the guide tabs 4 are formed in one piece with the side walls 2. Fig. 2 shows that in the area of an end 5 of a side wall 2 adjacent to another side wall 2, a guide tab 4 is arranged at the top and bottom, which encompasses the corresponding edge area 3 of the adjacent or adjacent side wall 2, so that the two side walls are guided longitudinally displaceably against each other. In the example shown, the guide tabs 4 are designed to be approximately hook-shaped or bent in order to encompass or overlap the edge areas 3 mentioned.

Accordingly, at the end of the side wall 2 held by the guide tabs 4 in Fig. 2, which is not shown in Fig. 2 but adjoins the extension to the top left in Fig. 2, corresponding guide tabs 4 are provided, which in the representation according to Fig. 2 overlap the side wall 2 that is closer to the viewer. Accordingly, the two adjacent side walls 2 guide each other in the area of their two ends 5 of the adjacent wall sections. This results in a stable guide that enables mutual telescopic displacement of the side walls 2, with the two aforementioned ends 5 with the guide tabs 4 approaching each other during telescopic extension.

In the embodiment shown, a corresponding telescopic guide or extendability is provided on all four sides of the border 1. In order to realize a telescopic extendability in only one extension direction of the border 1, it is sufficient to provide a corresponding telescopic guide on only two opposite sides of the border 1.

Fig. 2 also shows that in the example shown, each side wall is angled or bent to form a corner region 6. The corner regions also indicated in Fig. 1 can be relatively angular or strongly angled, as shown, or can also be rounded.

In the illustrated embodiment, each side wall 1 forms a corner region 6, so that the border 1 is formed from only four (wall) parts.

In the embodiment according to Fig. 2, the individual parts or the side walls 2 cannot be completely separated from one another. If the parts or side walls 2 can be separated from one another at all, they are preferably connected to one another by clamping in order to achieve a high level of inherent stability of the border 1.

In the second embodiment according to Fig. 3, the guide tabs 4 are not attached or formed integrally to the side walls 2, but are held by separate, preferably web-like sections 7, in particular in pairs.

The sections 7 can be designed as separate clamps or clamp elements. Preferably, however, the sections 7 or the guide tabs 4 are attached to the side wall 2 in the area of the associated end 5, in particular welded, soldered or attached in some other suitable manner. This leads to the advantage that material of a suitable width can be used to produce the side walls 2, so that the material waste when cutting, for example by punching, the side walls 2 can be minimized.

In the second embodiment, the guide tabs 4 are preferably arranged and designed in accordance with the first embodiment in order to realize a corresponding telescopic guide.

Fig. 1 further shows that the border 1 has at least one partition wall 8 for dividing the interior of the border 1 or the baking surface delimited by the border 1.

The partition wall 8 is preferably designed to be free-standing and for this purpose has at least one angled end region 9. In particular, the partition wall 8 has two angled end regions 9 which are angled in opposite directions and each rests at least substantially against a section of an associated side wall 2.

It goes without saying that the length and preferably also the height of the partition wall 8 is adapted to the border 1. In particular, the length of the partition wall 8 corresponds to the distance between the two opposite sides of the border 1, between which the partition wall 8 is to run. Instead of the illustrated, preferably essentially perpendicular course of the partition wall 8 to the associated side walls 2 of the border 1, the partition wall 8 can also run obliquely with respect to the side walls 2, possibly even diagonally in the interior of the border 1.

The partition wall 8 is preferably adjustable according to the border 1. In particular, the partition wall 8 is telescopically extendable.

In the exemplary embodiment shown, the partition wall 8 has two wall elements 10 which essentially correspond to the side walls 2 of the border 1. One end region 9 and one wall element 10 are preferably formed in one piece. The end regions 9 therefore represent angled or bent extensions of the wall elements 10.

The telescopic extendability of the wall elements 10 for adjusting the length of the partition wall 8 preferably corresponds to the telescopic guidance and adjustability of the side walls 2 of the border 1, so that the relevant elements of the partition wall 8 are only briefly addressed below.

In the example shown in Fig. 1, the upper and lower edge regions 11 of the adjacent wall elements 10 are overlapped or encompassed by guide tabs 12, so that the wall elements 10 can be telescopically displaced relative to one another. The guide tabs 12 are formed in one piece on the associated wall elements 10, preferably also in the region of the ends 13. Alternatively, they can also be formed on preferably web-like sections, which are then placed on the wall elements 10, in particular in the region of the overlapping ends 13, in accordance with the sections 7 of the border 1.

Preferably, the two wall elements 10 are connected to each other in a captive manner, but the wall elements 10 can also be detached from each other, in which case they can preferably be connected to each other in a plug-in and/or clamped manner.

In addition or as an alternative to the angled end regions 9, the partition wall 8 can also be designed to be detachably connectable to the border 1. For example, the partition wall 8 can have sections (not shown) for gripping around the associated side walls 2 from above and/or hanging into the associated side walls 2.

Claims (22)

1. Border for baked goods, consisting of heat-resistant, preferably reusable material, characterized in that the border ( 1 ) is designed without a base and is adjustable in at least one direction of extension, preferably in width and/or length. 2. Border according to claim 1, characterized in that the border ( 1 ) consists at least substantially of metal, in particular stainless steel. 3. Border according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the border ( 1 ) has a substantially rectangular shape. 4. Border according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the border ( 1 ) has side walls ( 2 ) which are telescopically extendable for adjustment in the respective extension direction of the border ( 1 ). 5. Border according to claim 4, characterized in that for telescopic extendability or guidance, edge regions ( 3 ) of adjacent side walls ( 2 ) are overlapped or encompassed by guide tabs ( 4 ). 6. Border according to claim 5, characterized in that the guide tabs ( 4 ) are formed in one piece on associated side walls ( 2 ), in particular in the region of the ends ( 5 ). 7. Border according to claim 5, characterized in that the guide tabs ( 4 ) are formed in particular in pairs on a preferably web-like section ( 7 ) which in turn is connected to one of pairs of telescopically extendable side walls ( 2 ), in particular in the region of one end ( 5 ) of the side wall ( 2 ). 8. Border according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the border ( 1 ) has side walls ( 2 ) which are inseparably or captively connected to one another. 9. Border according to claim 8, characterized in that at least one of the side walls ( 2 ) which can be telescopically extended in pairs, in particular in the region of its end ( 5 ), has a stop or a limit which prevents the two side walls ( 2 ) from becoming completely detached from one another. 10. Border according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the border ( 1 ) has side walls ( 2 ) which can be connected to one another in particular in a plug-in and/or clamp-releasably manner. 11. Border in particular according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the border ( 1 ) has at least one partition wall ( 8 ) for dividing the interior of the border ( 1 ). 12. Border according to claim 11, characterized in that the partition wall ( 8 ) is designed to be free-standing, in particular has at least one angled end region ( 9 ). 13. Border according to claim 11 or 12, characterized in that the partition wall ( 8 ) is adjustable in its length. 14. Border according to claim 13, characterized in that the partition wall ( 8 ) has two wall elements ( 10 ) which can be telescopically extended to adjust the length of the partition wall ( 8 ). 15. Border according to claim 14, characterized in that for telescopic extendability or guidance, edge regions ( 11 ) of the adjacent wall elements ( 10 ) are overlapped or encompassed by guide tabs ( 12 ). 16. Border according to claim 15, characterized in that the guide tabs ( 12 ) are formed integrally on the associated wall element ( 10 ). 17. Border according to claim 15, characterized in that the guide tabs ( 12 ) are formed in particular in pairs on a preferably web-like section, which in turn is connected to a wall element ( 10 ), in particular in the region of one end ( 13 ). 18. Border according to one of claims 11 to 17, characterized in that the partition wall ( 8 ) has two wall elements ( 10 ) which are inseparably or captively connected to one another. 19. Border according to claim 18, characterized in that at least one wall element ( 10 ), in particular in the region of one end ( 13 ), has a stop or a limitation which prevents the two wall elements ( 10 ) from becoming completely detached from one another. 20. Border according to one of claims 11 to 17, characterized in that the partition wall ( 8 ) has two wall elements ( 10 ) which can be connected to one another in particular in a plug-in and/or clamp-releasably manner. 21. Border according to one of claims 11 to 20, characterized in that the partition wall ( 8 ) has two wall elements ( 10 ), each with an angled end region ( 9 ), wherein the end regions ( 9 ) are preferably angled in opposite directions. 22. Border according to one of claims 11 to 21, characterized in that the partition wall ( 8 ) can be detachably connected to the border ( 1 ) and in particular has sections for preferably gripping around the upper side of side walls ( 2 ) of the border ( 1 ).
