Das erfindungsgemäjße Schrankrohr erfüllt somit nicht nur die Funktion einer Aufhängestange für die Kleiderbügel, sondern zugleich die Funktion einer Leuchte. Da das Schrankrohr ohnehin im Kleiderschrank montiert werden muß, entsteht so für die mechanische Befestigung der Leuchte kaum ein zusätzlicher Arbeitsaufwand. Da sich das Schrankrohr in Abstand oberhalb der auf den Kleiderbügeln hängenden Kleidungsstücke erstreckt, wird eine gleichmäßige Ausleuchtung sämtlicher Kleidungsstücke ermöglicht. Da in diesem Fall das Licht in der Hauptsache nach unten abgestrahlt wird, ergibt sich gegenüber einer etwa an der Rückwand des Schrankes angebrachten Leuchte der Vorteil, daß der .Benutzer nicht geblendet wird und daß auch die vorderen Bereiche der Kleidungsstücke gut ausgeleuchtet werden. Ein vergleichbarer Effekt könnte zwar auch mit einer direkt unter der Decke des Schrankes angebrachten Leuchte erreicht werden, doch bestünde dann die Gefahr, daß die Leuchte beim Herausnehmen der Kleidungsstücke hinderlich ist oder beschädigt wird. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Integration der Lichtquelle in das Schrankrohr werden diese Probleme vermieden.The wardrobe tube according to the invention therefore not only serves the function of a hanging rod for the coat hangers, but also of a light. Das in Figur 1 gezeigte Schrankrohr wird durch ein umgekehrt U-förmiges Hohlprofil 10 aus Kunststoff oder Metall gebildet, das in bekannter Weise zur Aufnahme der hakenförmigen Aufhänger 12 von Kleiderbügeln 14 dient. Obgleich der Querschnitt des Hohlprofils 10 im allgemeinen etwas größer sein wird als der herkömmlicher Schrankrohre, läßt sich somit das erfindungsgemäße Schrankrohr problemlos in allen herkömmlichen Schrankrohrlagem befestigen. Claims

1. Closet tube, characterized in that at least one light source ( 16 ) is integrated into the closet tube and that the closet tube is closed at the ends by end caps ( 40 ), each of which has a pin ( 46 ) reduced in size compared to the cross-section of the closet tube for engagement in a closet tube bearing ( 42 ; 52 ).

2. Cabinet tube according to claim 1, characterized in that the light source ( 16 ) is a fluorescent tube running in the longitudinal direction of the cabinet tube.

3. Cabinet tube according to claim 2, characterized in that a ballast ( 38 ) for the fluorescent tube ( 16 ) is accommodated in the cabinet tube.

4. Cabinet tube according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is formed by an inverted U-shaped hollow profile ( 10 ) which accommodates the at least one light source ( 16 ).

5. Closet tube according to claim 4, characterized by a reflector ( 22 ) in the form of a profile element which is inserted or clipped into the hollow profile ( 10 ).

6. Cabinet tube according to claim 4 or 5, characterized by socket supports ( 34 ) which are inserted axially from the open end into the hollow profile ( 10 ), on each of which a socket ( 30 ) for one end of the light source ( 16 ) is arranged.

7. Cabinet tube according to claim 6, characterized in that the socket ( 30 ) is a socket for a miniature fluorescent tube and that an associated ballast ( 38 ) is held within the hollow profile ( 10 ) on the socket carrier ( 34 ).

8. Closet tube according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the end cap ( 40 ) has an end plate ( 42 ) adapted to the outer cross section of the closet tube and that an associated closet tube bearing ( 52 ) forms an outer receptacle ( 54 ) for the end plate ( 44 ) and an inner receptacle ( 56 ) for the pin ( 46 ).
