Die Erfindung betrifft ein Polstermöbel mit einer zu bepolsternden Unterlage, einer Polsterauflage aus weichem Material, wie Schaumstoff, und einem Bezug. Die Unterlagen von Polstermöbel, insbesondere Unterlagen für gepolsterte Bürostühle und dergleichen Funktionsmöbel sind nach ergonomischen Gesichtspunkten ausgestaltet, d.h. sie weisen den Körperkonturen entsprechende Wölbungen auf. Beispielsweise sind diese Unterlagen regelmäßig zur Rückenlehne hin nach oben gewölbt, um eine aufrechte Sitzhaltung und somit eine Entlastung der Wirbelsäule zu ermöglichen. Die Polsterauflage 12 und der Bezug 13 werden über einen Faden 14 längs der Befestigungslinie 16 an einer Leiste 28 fixiert, wobei sich die Leiste 28 etwa parallel zur Befestigungslinie 16 erstreckt und unterhalb der Polsterauflage 12 angeordnet ist. Zur Befestigung des Fadens 14 an der Leiste 28 weist die Leiste 28 eine vorgefertigte Lochreihe (nicht gezeigt) auf, so daß der Faden beim Durchdringen der Polsterauflage 12 und des Bezuges 13 mit der Leiste 28 vernäht werden kann. Je nach Beschaffenheit der Leiste 28 ist das Vorsehen einer vorgefertigten Lochreihe nicht erforderlich.
