Aus der Gebrauchsmusterschrift DE-U-94 12 361 ist ein Halsgurt zum Halten und Führen von Tieren, mit einem Schnellverschluß parallel zu einem zu überbrückenden Gurtabschnitt, bekannt. Durch diesen parallelen Gurtabschnitt kann selbst bei einem unbeabsichtigt geöffneten Schnellverschluß das Halsband nicht vom Kopf des Tieres rutschen. Als nachteilig erweist sich jedoch, daß der Gurtabschnitt auf Grund seiner Anbringung einen ungünstigen Faltenwurf aufweist, der für die 0 Tiere insbesondere mit kleinen Hälsen sehr unangenehm sein kann. Gleichzeitig ist bei einem Öffnen des Schnellverschlusses zum Beispiel auf Grund von starkem Ziehen des Hundes oder Hängenbleiben in einem Gebüsch sichergestellt, daß das Halsband sich nicht insgesamt öffnet sondern nur so weit vergrößert, wie es das Sicherheitsband zuläßt. Die Verbindung des funktionellen Endes mit dem Halsbandabschnitt ist in jedem Fall unlösbar gewährleistet. Dies bietet auch eine erhöhte Sicherheit gegen ein Losreißen des Tieres und eine bessere Kontrolle, wenn eine unerwartete Bewegung beim Anlegen oder Abnehmen des Halsbands stattfindet. Zugleich kann das Sicherheitsband problemlos an verschiedene Größen des Tierhalses angepaßt werden und liegt immer flach an der Innenseite des Tierhalses an, ohne das Tier zu stören. Fig.l zeigt schematisch und nicht maßstäblich eine Seitenansicht eines Tierhalsbands. Das Tierhalsband 1 weist einen - in Fig.2 geschlossen dargestellten - Schnellverschluß 5 auf. Der Schnellverschluß 5 besteht aus einem ersten Teil 3 und einem zweiten Teil 4, die so ineinander schiebbar sind, daß der eine Teil an Hinterschneidungen des anderen Teils verrastet. Das Tierhalsband 1 weist einen durchlaufenden Gurt 2 auf, der ein erstes Ende 24 an dem ersten Teil 3 des Schnellverschlusses 5 aufweist und ein zweites Ende 2 5 an einer Schnalle 26, mit der die Länge des Tierhalsbands 1 verstellt werden kann. Die Enden 24 und 25 des Gurts 2 sind jeweils mit zwei Nähten 60 und zwei Nähten 61, die je zwei Gurtabschnitte verbinden, befestigt.Fig. 1 shows a side view of an animal collar, schematically and not to scale. Claims

1. Animal collar, in particular dog collar, with at least one continuous strap ( 2 ), with a quick-release fastener ( 5 ) made up of a first ( 3 ) and a second part ( 4 ), and with a safety band ( 7 ) bridging the quick-release fastener ( 5 ) on an inner side ( 6 ) of the animal collar ( 1 ) and having a first ( 8 ) and a second functional end ( 9 ), characterized in that the first functional end ( 8 ) of the safety band ( 7 ) is attached to a collar section ( 10 ) so as to be displaceable and non-detachable even when the quick-release fastener ( 5 ) is open.

2. Animal collar according to claim 1, characterized in that the first functional end ( 8 ) of the safety band ( 7 ) has a sliding ring ( 11 ) which engages around the collar section ( 10 ).

3. Animal collar according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the collar section ( 10 ) which the sliding ring ( 11 ) engages around is constructed from an inner ( 13 ) and an outer strap section ( 14 ) and the sliding ring ( 11 ) engages around the inner strap section ( 13 ).

4. Animal collar according to one or more of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the length of the inner strap section ( 13 ), on which the sliding ring ( 11 ) is displaceable, is adjustable by two adjustable clamping rings ( 15 , 15 ').

5. Animal collar according to one or more of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the sliding ring ( 11 ) consists of an 8-shaped ring, on one end web ( 17 ) of which the first functional end ( 8 ) engages and with the other end web ( 18 ) of which the belt section ( 13 ) is encompassed.

6. Animal collar according to one or more of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the safety band ( 7 ) is formed by two parallel belt sections ( 21 , 21 ').

7. Animal collar according to one or more of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the first part ( 3 ) of the quick-release fastener ( 5 ) is located on the second functional end ( 9 ) of the safety band ( 7 ).

8. Animal collar according to one or more of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that a leash ring ( 19 ) is attached at a distance from the first functional end ( 8 ) of the safety band ( 7 ), which ring surrounds the collar section ( 10 ) of the animal collar ( 1 ).

9. Animal collar according to one or more of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the second part ( 4 ) of the quick-release fastener ( 5 ) is located at one end ( 22 ) of the animal collar ( 1 ) and the distance of the clamping ring ( 15 ) from the second part ( 4 ) of the quick-release fastener ( 5 ) is greater than or equal to the distance of the leash ring ( 19 ) from the sliding ring ( 11 ).

10. Animal collar according to one or more of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that it is constructed from a single, continuous strap ( 2 ) which has a first ( 24 ) and a second end ( 25 ), the first end ( 24 ) being seated on the first part ( 3 ) of the quick-release fastener ( 5 ) and being connected to the parallel strap part ( 21 ) and the second end ( 4 ) being fastened to an inner web ( 40 ) of a buckle ( 26 ) with which the length of the animal collar ( 1 ) can be adjusted.

11. Animal collar according to one or more of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the strap ( 2 ) consists of nylon or nylon woven material.
