Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Befestigung einer Last an einem Fahrzeug, wobei diese einen Spanngurt aufweist, der die Last direkt oder über ein Lastaufnahmemittel, das seinerseits die Last trägt, an einer Fahrzeugkarosse festspannt. Dabei weist der Spanngurt höchstens eine geringe elastische Dehnbarkeit auf. Er ist mit mindestens zwei Aufnahmeelementen versehen, wobei mindestens ein Aufnahmeelement an einer Befestigungsposition an der Fahrzeugkarosse angreifbar ist. Das andere Aufnahmeelement ist entweder an einer weiteren Befestigungsposition an der Fahrzeugkarosse angreifbar oder mit dem Lastaufnahmemittel oder der Last selbst verbunden oder verbindbar. Hier kann nach Einhängen des Gummiseils 16 in die Öffnungen 15 eine Zusatzspannkraft auf die Aufnahmeelemente 7 und 8 aufgebracht werden, wodurch ein Aushaken insbesondere des Aufnahmeelementes 8 aus der Hecktür 9 verhindert werden kann.Such a rubber cord 16 is shown in Figure 6.
