Der im Schutzanspruch angegebenen Erfindung liegt das Problem zugrunde, daß Schulbücher a) sehr stark beansprucht werden und b) mehrere Jahre halten sollen. Mit der Erfindung wird erreicht, daß der Nachteil von Papiereinbänden gegenüber Kunststoffeinbänden erheblich reduziert wird, indem durch die Schutzecken die Haltbarkeit von Papiereinbänden wesentlich verlängert wird, mit dem umweltschonenden Vorteil, daß Kunststoff im Gegensatz zu ganzflächigen Kunststoffeinbänden nur an den wirklich wichtigen Stellen, den Ecken, verwendet wird und die überwiegende Fläche praktisch mit Papier abgedeckt ist.
