Compact urinal system for concealed installation

The present invention relates to a wall-mounted, height-adjustable urinal with urine splash reduction and hygienic full flushing and handling for commercial and private use.

According to the state of the art, it is known that urinals are manufactured in a wide variety of shapes, thicknesses, designs and colors, which are mainly used in the commercial sector, although there is also a demand in the private sector.

For these applications in commercial and private areas, urinals are fixed to the wall at a certain height, which has the disadvantage that, depending on the body size and bladder pressure, urine bounces back when urinating due to the impact in the urinal, causing splashes of urine in the area around the urinal and hitting the person urinating, which is not exactly hygienic.

Even more extreme is the man's urination in private areas, where there is usually no urinal and men use a toilet to urinate, and this is usually done standing up rather than sitting down, which contributes to the fact that the difference in height between the person urinating and the toilet means that urine splashes over a much wider area than with a urinal, and the hygiene leaves a lot to be desired.

In private areas where urinals are used, they are not only potentially dangerous if there are small children present, due to the height and distance from the wall of the urinals, but urinals are also very popular with small children as play pools, which is very unhygienic and can also lead to illnesses.

The present invention is based on the task of developing a height-adjustable urinal, recessed into the wall, with urine splash reduction and hygienic full flush and handling for commercial and private use of the type mentioned at the beginning, in such a way that urine splash reduction is achieved by adjusting the height and inclining the urinal, whereby after the urinal lid is closed, a fully automatic internal full flush of the entire urinal takes place, whereby hygiene is taken into account by introducing a disinfectant, in liquid or solid form.

To solve this problem, the invention proposes a height-adjustable urinal set into the wall with urine splash reduction and hygienic full flush and handling for commercial and private use, which is mounted on a frame, the front of which is designed as a movable, foldable part (wall cover) on which a urinal funnel is mounted on the inside, whereby the desired angle setting of the wall cover and thus also of the urinal funnel is maintained by opening the wall cover via a grid disc, which should contribute to the fact that the spray effect of the urine is greatly reduced by the optimal adjustment option between the person urinating and the urinal funnel.

When the wall cover is opened, the flush ring, which is mounted in the frame, is simultaneously lifted up out of the sealing ring via a device (rod), and when the wall cover is closed, the flush ring is pressed down into the sealing ring via this device (rod), which ensures tightness during the internal full flush.

The flushing, which takes place after the wall cover has been closed, can be triggered mechanically, by solenoid valves in conjunction with a timer as a contactor or a light beam control or by hand pressure.

Thanks to the internal full flush, it is no longer necessary to keep the urinal funnel clean, as is the case with conventional hanging urinals, which is very unhygienic.

The flush-mounted installation of the urinal funnel, which not only saves space, also means that there is no danger for small children and it is not possible for them to play in the urinal, as the opening mechanism is too high and can also be fitted with a child safety lock.

A preferred embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to Figures 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Under the reference point 1, a frame is shown to which a movable front part (wall cover) 2 is assigned, whereby the wall cover 2 is opened via the opening mechanism (handle) 3, and the flushing device 5 is lifted out of a sealing ring 5a via the rod 4, whereby the urinal funnel 9, which is mounted with the fastenings 8 and 8a on the inside of the wall cover, appears and can be locked into place at the correct height as required via the locking disc 7 in order to prevent urine backflow, so that the urine runs over the inside of the urinal funnel 9 into a flexible hose 11, which is connected to the urinal funnel 9 and the siphon 12 via the mounting opening 10.

After urination has been completed, the wall cover flap 2 is closed again with the urinal funnel 9 via the handle 3, whereby the flushing device 5, which is assigned a flexible connection 6 to the flushing mechanism, is pressed into a sealing ring 5a above the rod 4.

Depending on the mechanism, by means of solenoid valves in conjunction with a timer as a contactor or a light beam control or by hand pressure, the internal full flush can be triggered via the flush ring 5, whereby the urinal funnel 9 is flushed from all sides from the inside and the dirty water is disposed of via the flexible hose 11 and the siphon 12 via the house sewer.

Figures 2 and 3 show the functionality of the compact urinal system in a cross section in a masonry structure 13.
