Nach Aushärten des Klebstoffs wird die Schraube 7 gelöst (Pfeilrichtung 1) und die Zierblende 1 kann nach vorn (Pfeilrichtung 2) vom Scheinwerfer 2 abgenommen werden. Um einen sicheren Halt zu erreichen, kann auch der obere Rand des Blinkerglases 3 mit Klebstoff eingestrichen werden und die Blende 1 mit dem Blinkerglas 3 verklebt werden. Um Vibrationen bei höheren Fahrgeschwindigkeiten zu vermeiden kann es vorteilhaft sein, wenn die Blende 1 zusätzlich mit einem doppelseitigen vorzugsweise zerstörungsfrei lösbaren Klebeband 9, das auf die Innenseite des längeren Schenkels 11 aufgebracht wird, mit dem Scheinwerfer 2 verklebt wird.
