Bereits bekannte Schachteln für Wattestäbchen haben ein kastenförmiges Unterteil, dessen Entnahmeöffnung mittels eines Deckels geschlossen ist. Das Unterteil kann aus transparentem Kunststoff oder aus Karton bestehen, der wiederum mit Abbildungen der eingelagerten Wattestäbchen bedruckt sein kann, so daß der Eindruck einer transparenten Packung entsteht. Der Deckel besteht ebenfalls aus transparentem Kunststoff. Über den Deckel ist eine Banderole geklebt, die mit ihren beiden Seitenabschnitten auf gegenüberliegende Seitenwände des Bodenteils erstreckt und auch mit diesem verklebt ist.
