Wenn die Geschwindigkeit des Autos die 20 Km/h-Grenze überschritten hat, schaltet der Einsteller 1 in die Leuchtweite 2 Fig 3 um. In die Leuchtweite 1 Fig 3 wird umgeschaltet, wenn die Geschwindigkeit mehr als 60 Km/h beträgt und ein entgegenkommendes Auto vorhanden ist. Sollte es kein engegenkommendes Fahrzeug vorhanden sein und die Geschwindigkeit mehr als 60 Km/h ist, schaltet der Einsteller 1 die maximale Leuchtweite 0 Fig 3 ein.
