Aus dem DE-GM 295 04 052 ist eine flache Anzeigeeinheit bekannt, die aus einem LCD-Bildschirm mit einer darauf angeordneten durchsichtigen, berührungsempfindlichen Einheit besteht. Gemäß der Erfindung wird die Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß bei dem Bedienpult der eingangs angegebenen Art die Anzeigeeinheit in Abhängigkeit von der Betätigung eines Bedienelements motorisch verschwenkbar ist. Sobald die an dem Bedienpult tätige Bedienperson bei sich ändernden Lichtverhältnissen aufgrund des von der Anzeigefläche des Anzeigeelements zurückgestrahlten Lichts geblendet wird, kann sie durch Betätigen des Bedienelements die Anzeigeeinheit in eine blendfreie Position verschwenken. Wird die berührungsempfindliche Einheit 9 im Bereich des Bedienelements 10 berührt, so wird in einer hier nicht gezeigten nachgeordneten Recheneinrichtung der Hubspindelmotor 5 im Sinne der Erzeugung eines Vorwärtshubs gesteuert, wodurch die Anzeigeeinheit 2 von der Bedienperson weg nach hinten verschwenkt wird.
