Die Ausführungsform nach Fig. 1 zeigt eine Kühlbox in zylindrischer Form für die Aufnahme einer Torte. Cooling box for transporting and keeping food fresh, the housing of which consists of a base, side walls made in one piece therewith and a lid closing the top of the box, which is made entirely of heat-insulating material, characterized in that the base (2) and the outer surface (1) form a cylindrical interior, and that the walls (1) of the interior of the box have fastening devices (9) for receiving carrying devices (13, 14) with a base plate (15) for a cake (16).

2. Cooling box according to claim 1, characterized in that the base plate (15) with cake (16) is designed to be liftable out of the box with the aid of the carrying device (13, 14).

3. Cooling box according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the interior of the box is cylindrical.

4. Cooling box according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the interior of the box is inverted frustoconical in shape.

5. Cooling box according to one of claims 1 - 4, characterized in that the base plate (2), the cylindrical side wall (1) and/or the lid (3) have recesses (6) which are designed to accommodate replaceable cooling elements (7).

6. Cooling box according to one of claims 1 - 4, characterized in that the base plate (2), the cylindrical side wall (1) and/or the lid (3) have recesses (6) which are designed to accommodate a battery (6), and that a mini cooling unit which is powered by the battery is installed in the housing wall (1).

7. Cooling box according to claim 6, characterized in that the battery (6) is connected to a socket (8) on the outside of the housing (1), which can be connected to a power source, e.g. the mains power supply or a motor vehicle socket.

8. Cooling box according to one of claims 1 - 7, characterized in that the peripheral side wall (1) has holders (9) on the inside for releasably receiving a carrying device (13, 14) with a plate (15) receiving a cake (16).

9. Cooling box according to claim 8, characterized in that the holders (9) are eyelets and that the support devices (13, 14) are rods that can be inserted into the eyelets and that are detachably connected to the cake plate (6) or have receptacles for the cake plate.

Cooling box according to one of claims 1 and 4-8, characterized in that the holders (9) are projections formed on the inner wall of the box, e.g. noses, webs or the like, which represent supports for the cake plate (16), and that elements for raising and lowering the cake plate with cake can be connected to the cake plate.

11. Cooling box according to one of claims 1-10, characterized in that it has several devices according to claims 7-9 in tiers one above the other.

Cooling box according to claim 1 and claims 5-9, characterized in that the cooling box housing is a hollow cylinder divided into two half cylinders (32, 33), that the two half cylinders are connected to one another by means of a hinge arrangement (34), that the hinge axis is the pivot axis of the two half cylinders parallel to their longitudinal axis, and that the inner wall of the two hollow cylinders has means (35 - 38) for receiving a cake plate or several cake plates arranged one above the other in tiers.

Cooling box according to claim 1 and one of claims 5-9, characterized in that the cooling box housing is designed in two parts (39, 43), that one part (39) is half a hollow cylinder with parallel, straight extension walls (40, 41), that one of the two free wall ends has a hinge (42) and the door (43) closing the two walls, and that the other wall end has a door lock (44).
