Training equipment for martial arts with flexible components. Training equipment that has arms, legs and striking surfaces is nothing new in the martial arts sector. It can be mounted on the wall, hung from the ceiling or free-standing. The wooden dummy that is traditionally used in some Asian martial arts is an example (Yip Chun: 116 Wing Tsun wooden dummy techniques, Wu Shu Verlag, Burg/Fehmam 1983). What these devices have in common, however, is that they do not have flexible components. Since an arm or body that is hit by a defensive or offensive technique always gives way, a realistic training feeling is only given to a very limited extent.

The invention specified in claim 1 is based on the problem of developing a training device that offers martial artists a realistic reaction to their techniques, which is otherwise only possible when training with a partner.

This problem is solved with the features listed in claim 1.

The invention ensures that every fighting technique is met with a reaction on the device (giving way of the arms, legs or striking pads) that largely corresponds to reality. This effect otherwise only occurs when training with a human partner. In addition, techniques can be carried out with greater force than on conventional training devices, since the risk of injury is reduced by the flexible components.

An advantageous embodiment of the invention is specified in claim 2.

The wall mount allows the device to be easily hung up and removed, which enables it to be installed and used even when space is limited.

An embodiment of the invention is explained with reference to Figures 1-5. They show:

The connection (1) between the arms, legs and impact padding with the vertical metal tube (7) as well as the connection (8) between the metal tube (7) and the base plate of the wall bracket (9) consist of commercially available pipe connection elements, such as those used for the handrails in public transport.

For the arm (Fig. 2), a tension spring (2) is inserted into the connecting piece (1). This tension spring is welded to a metal tube.

For the leg (Fig. 3), the tension spring is inserted into an angled pipe connector (4) which in turn is connected to the connector (1) with a short pipe (13). A metal pipe (5) is welded to the tension spring.

For the impact pad (Fig. 4), a compression spring ( 14) is inserted into the connecting piece (1). The impact pad (6) is connected to a guide rod (15) which is inserted into the compression spring and is held in position by a retaining screw (16).

The wall mount (Fig. 5) consists of the metal base plate (9) and the
Connecting piece (8). The base plate is anchored in the wall by screws in the screw holes (10). Wing or Allen screws are screwed through the screw holes (11) of the wall bracket into the holes (12) of the base plate, which allow the training device to be easily hung up or removed.
