The invention relates to a sanitary article made of HT plastic and stainless steel, which can be installed directly into an attachment piece on the toilet bowl drain pipe or integrated into any other drain pipe.

With the current open drainage system of a toilet or similar, it is unavoidable that vermin can get into the premises. This is highly undesirable for hygiene and safety reasons.

The invention is based on the task of creating a sanitary article, the installation and use of which makes it impossible for vermin to penetrate the sanitary or living areas.

According to the invention, this task is solved by a curved and divided round sieve, installed in a 100 HT plastic pipe fitting. Of course, other widths can also be produced.

The invention is explained using a drawing, the only figure of which shows the proposed vermin-repellent sieve in a side view.

The retaining sieve consists of two divided and curved sieve shells 14 made of stainless steel. The sieve shells are attached to rotary drive bearings 12 in a curvature 20 of an HT plastic pipe 10.

The plastic pipe can be straight or have a bend of 45 or 90 degrees. Both versions have a sleeve at the top with sealing insert 18.

The sieve bowls are kept closed either by compression springs 16 made of stainless spring steel or by attached low-current magnets or motors 12.

When opened, the sieve shells are located completely in the curvature 20 of the HT plastic pipe.

This proposed invention can also be installed in KG pipes and is then particularly suitable for installation in the sewage inspection shaft on the property.

The automatic vermin retention sieve works on the spring principle or low-current magnet or motor drive.

Description spring principle:

When the toilet is flushed, the solids hit the retaining sieve 14. The resulting pressure causes the two pressure springs to give way and the two sieve bowls 14 open completely. In doing so, they are pressed over their entire surface into the curvature 20 of the plastic pipe 10 provided for this purpose. The solids and paper can then flow through unhindered.

After the flushing process has ended and the pressure has dropped, the pressure springs 16 close the two sieve bowls again. The pipe is again protected against vermin. Urine flushing flows away without opening the retaining sieve.

Description of low-current magnet or motor drive:

In this system, the opening mechanism is connected to the flush button via a trigger sensor.

The user presses the flush button. This sends a weak current via a trigger sensor to two electromagnets or motors, which then open the sieve trays 14.

After releasing the flush button, a delay relay prevents the power from being interrupted immediately. After a few seconds (adjustable), the power supply is interrupted, the magnets or motors are no longer activated and the pressure springs 16 close the sieve trays.

The sanitary item presented here reliably prevents any vermin from entering rooms through the sewer pipes.
