FARBWERKE vorm. MEISTER LUCIUS & BRÜNING in HÖCHST a. M. Verfahren zur Darstellung nachchromierbarer Triphenylmethanfarbstoffe.
Zusatz zum Patente 227105 vom 26. Mai 1909.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 8. September 1909 ab. ,.
Längste Dauer: 25. Mai 1924.
Es wurde gefunden, daß in dem Verfahren des Patents 227105 der ρ-Chlorbenzaldehyd
durch seine Substitutionsprodukte sowie durch andere p-Halogeiibenzaldehyde und deren Substitutionsprodukte
ersetzt werden kann.
Die so erhaltenen -Farbstoffe, die an Stelle
des p-ständigen Halogenatoms einen Arylämiiiorest enthalten, ziehen in saurem Bade
auf Wolle; durch nachträgliches Chromieren werden violette bis blaue Färbungen von
großer Echtheit erhalten, die sich namentlich durch größere Alkaüechtheit vor den Färbungen
der halogenhaltigen Ausgangsfarbstoffe auszeichnen.
Der Farbstoff aus 4«6-Dichlor-3-toluylaldehyd und o-Kresotinsäure wird mit der
fünffachen Menge Anilin 3 Stunden auf ioo° erwärmt. Die Aufarbeitung der Reaktionsmasse geschieht wie im Hauptpatent angegeben.

- Patent-Anspruch:.
Abänderung des durch Patent 227105 geschützten Verfahrens, darin bestehend, daß man den ρ - Chlorbenzaldehyd durch seine Substitutionsprodukte oder durch andere p-Halogenbenzaldehyde und deren Substitutionsprodukte ersetzt.BERLIN. GEbRUCKT IN DER REICHSDRUCKEREI.
