Die Errindung besteht darin, daß die Preßkrafterzeugungseinrichtung als Blähkissen ausgeführt und das Blähkissen auf einer Basisplatte montiert und unter der unteren Pressenplatte angeordnet ist, wobei die Basispiatte ihrerseits mit einer FUhrungssinrichtung für die untere Pressenplatte ausgerüstet ist. Das läßt sich im einzelnen auf verschiedene Weise verwirklichen. Eine Ausführungsform der Erfindung, die sich in bezug auf die Gestaltung des Blähkissens durch Einfachheit und Funktionssicherheit auszeichnet, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Blähkissen eine flexible und dehnbare Platte aus Gummi oder Kunststoff aufweist und diese auf der Basisplatte mit einem über die untere Pressenplatte vorstehenden Rand befestigt ist. Bei dieser Ausführungsform ist es nicht erforderlich, das Blähkissen als besonderes Bauteil auszuführen, welches aus Kissenoberseite, Kissenunterseite und ggbfs. Seitenflächen besteht, vielmehr ist nur eine einfache Platte aus Gummi oder Kunststoff erforderlich, die mit der Basisplatte vereinigt wird. Die Beheizung kann auf verschiedene Weise erfolgen, beispielsweise kann mit Rohrheizkörpern 3 gearbeitet werden, aber auch Flachheizkörper sind einsetzbar. Dazu sind im Ausführungsbeispiel die Pressenplatten 1,2 jeweils aus Oberplatte 4 und Unterplatte 5 aufgebaut, wobei die Heizkörper 3 zwischengelegt sind. Im übrigen gehört zur erfindungsgemäßen Plattenpresse eine Traverse 6 mit Spanneinrichtung 7, die im Ausführungsbeispiel mit Schraubenbolzen 8 arbeitet, sowie eine Preßkrafterzeugungseinrichtung. Die Preßkrafterzeugungseinrichtung ist als Blähkissen 9 ausgeführt. Das Blähkissen 9 ist auf einer Basisplatte 10 montiert und unter der unteren Pressenplatte 2 angeordnet. Die Basisplatte 10 ist ihrerseits mit einer Führungseinrichtung 11 für die untere Pressenplatte 2 versehen. Im Ausführungsbeispiel und nach bevorzugter Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist das Blähkissen 9 auf sehr einfache Weise gestaltet.
