Das System der freiliegenden Walze ist eine grofse Erleichterung für die Operation des Einlegens der Walze in das Melodeon sowie des Herausnehmens derselben und beseitigt alle früher damit verbundenen Schwierigkeiten. Erreicht wurde dasselbe durch Verlegung der die Walze treibenden Schnecke nach unten mit einem nach links laufenden Gewinde und durch Construirung eines besonderen Stellzeuges, welches die Walze vollständig freilegt.The exposed roller system greatly facilitates the inlay operation the roller in the melodeon as well as the removal of the same and eliminates all difficulties previously associated with it.
