Abstract

A support head (43) integrally joined to the support (40) projects into the locating space (41) in the support for the rod (30) and support surfaces on the head cooperate with support surfaces (311) on the support rail (31) in the top of the rod. Claims

1. A support for a curtain rod, which together with at least one further support supports a curtain rod ( 30 ) oriented at right angles to them and has a downwardly open recess ( 41 ) for the latter,
wherein in the cross-section of the rod ( 30 ) a hook rail ( 32 ) is formed at the bottom for the slidingly displaceable reception of suspension hooks ( 33 ) and at the opposite upper peripheral point a support rail ( 31 ) is formed, which serves for connection to the supports ( 40 ),
wherein the support rail ( 31 ) represents an undercut profile which interacts positively with the carrier ( 40 ),
characterized in that in the recess ( 41 ) of the support ( 40 ) there projects a support head ( 43 ) formed in one piece with the latter and having support surfaces ( 431 ) which cooperate with undercut surfaces of the support rail ( 31 ) representing the rail support surfaces ( 311 ), and in that the position of each support ( 40 ) relative to the curtain rod ( 30 ) can be fixed by means of a clamping screw ( 42 ) which is screwed into the support and acts on the rod ( 30 ).

2. Support for a curtain rod according to claim 1, characterized in that the support rail ( 31 ) has the shape of a U in cross section with inward-grooving leg ends and cooperates with the support head ( 43 ) in the manner of a sliding dovetail connection.

3. Support for a curtain rod according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the supporting surfaces ( 311 , 431 ) of the support rail ( 31 ) and the support head ( 43 ) which interact with one another are partially cylindrical surfaces.
