Abstract

The door intercom includes a transmitter (1) inside the house having a signal reception unit and a call unit (2). The signal reception unit receives the radio signal from a radio transmission button (31) of the door station (3) outside the house. The radio signal is received by the transmitter when a visitor pushes the radio transmission button. A connection is set-up by the call unit with the mobile telephone (4) of the house owner, who is not present in the house. The owner of the house can have a conversion with the visitor using bidirectional long-distance radio transmission.

A wireless door intercom system comprising a detector ( 1 ) inside the dwelling in which a signal receiving unit and a calling unit ( 2 ) are provided, the signal receiving unit being able to receive the radio signal from a radio transmission button of the door station ( 3 ) outside the dwelling, whereby when the visitor presses the radio transmission button ( 31 ), the radio signal is received by the detector ( 1 ), which thus establishes a connection through the calling unit ( 2 ) with the mobile telephone ( 4 ) of the owner of the dwelling who is not currently in the dwelling, whereby the owner of the dwelling can have a radio conversation with the visitor, so that a bidirectional long-distance radio transmission is achieved. 2.
