Abstract

The device for obtaining stool samples not contaminated by external agents takes the form of an elongate element of paper fleece (1) which has strips (2) of adhesive within its end zones (1b) and is dimensioned so that it laterally spans a toilet seat with a sag above a water level. Its width in the middle zone (1a) is chosen to form a base preferably capable of holding the entire evacuated material produced during use of the toilet.

Zur Gesundheitskontrolle zählt u.a. die Kontrolle des Stuhlgangs oder Stuhls, d.h. der durch den Darm ausgeschiedenen Verdauungsprodukte (Exkremente). Dazu müssen Patienten dem Arzt Proben zur Verfügung stellen, welche nicht mit Fremdstoffen oder Wasser in Berührung gekommen sind. Es muß sich also um originäre Stuhlproben handeln. Da üblicherweise Proben aus einer Toilettenschüssel entnommen werden (müssen), gibt es diesbezüglich immer mehr Schwierigkeiten.Health checks include, among other things, checking bowel movements or stool, i.e. the digestive products (excrement) excreted through the intestines. Die Erfindung beruht auf der Erkenntnis, dass innerhalb der Toilettenschüssel eine weitere Ebene aufgespannt werden muß, welche einerseits so tief unterhalb des Toilettensitzes verläuft, dass keinerlei Unannehmlichkeiten beim Stuhlgang eintreten, und welche andererseits so hoch über einem vorhandenen Wasserspiegel endet, dass es zu keiner Durchnässung von unten kommt. Damit eine solche Ebene die sonstige Toilettenbenutzung nicht behindert oder einschränkt, schlägt die Erfindung gezielt ein Hilfsmittel vor, welches nur bedarfsweise und einmalig zum Einsatz kommt und danach dank seiner Form und seines Materials (Papiervlies von handelsüblicher Beschaffenheit) leicht entsorgt werden kann. Nach Figur 1 besteht die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung zur Sicherung originärer Stuhlproben aus einem naßfesten Papiervlies 1, welches zunächst blattförmig vorliegt und eine längliche Form aufweist. Insbesondere wird diese im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel durch zwei bogenförmige Längsseiten und zwei gerade Breitseiten festgelegt mit dem Ergebnis, dass das Papiervlies 1 in seinem mittleren Bereich 1a breiter als an den Enden 1b ist, nämlich etwa doppelt so breit. Als weitere Besonderheit weist das Papiervlies 1 an seinen Enden 1b Haftzonen 2 auf. Diese sind streifenförmig ausgebildet und verlaufen hier quer zur Längsachse des Papiervlieses 1. Claims

1. Device for securing original stool samples, characterized by an elongated paper fleece ( 1 ) with adhesive zones ( 2 ) at its ends ( 1 b), with a length which is dimensioned such that the paper fleece ( 1 ) can be arranged across a toilet seat ( 3 ) and thereby hangs freely above a water level, and with a width in the middle region ( 1 a) which is selected such that as complete a deposit of stool as possible occurs thereon when using the toilet.

2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the adhesive zones ( 2 ) are strip-shaped and in particular transverse to the longitudinal axis of the paper fleece ( 1 ).

3. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the adhesive zones ( 2 ) are produced by applying an adhesive over the surface and are covered by a silicone paper before use of the paper fleece ( 1 ).

4. Device according to one of claims 1-3, characterized in that the paper fleece ( 1 ) has two curved longitudinal sides and two straight broad sides.
