The invention relates to a bed protection according to the preamble of claim 1.

Bed protectors provide artificial protection for beds and are intended to protect the seeds or plants in the beds from e.g. birds, snails and storms, as well as to create a growth-promoting climate for faster growth of the

Well-known solutions for protecting beds are walk-in greenhouses. The disadvantage of greenhouses, however, is that they are permanently installed in the garden and take up a lot of space.

A well-known solution for removable bed protection involves a foil tunnel with a large number of half-arches. The half-arches are spaced apart from one another and covered by a foil.

The disadvantage of this solution is that the half-arches are very long and therefore require a lot of space when storing the dismantled bed protection.

The object of the present invention is to provide a 0 bed protector which requires little space when stored and is easy to handle.

This problem is solved by a bed protection with the features according to claim 1.

Cover. According to the invention, the frame is formed from at least two legs which are connected to one another in an articulated manner.

The advantage of the solution according to the invention is that the articulated connection of the legs means that they can be folded together when dismantled and therefore require very little storage space. Another advantage is that the articulated connection means that the frame can be adapted to any base area of the beds, so that the bed protection according to the invention can be used for a variety of different beds.

In a preferred embodiment, the legs are rod-shaped and made of a weather-resistant plastic or a preferably galvanized metal. The frame has a plurality of adjacent legs that are supported against each other by crossbeams so that they cannot tip over. The crossbeams preferably extend through through holes in the legs. The cover is designed as a transparent plastic film that is provided with ventilation holes for better air circulation.

In order to be able to freely choose the length of the legs, it is advantageous if the legs are designed as telescopic legs.

The frame 8 has a plurality of legs 10, 12, which are each connected to one another in pairs in an articulated manner in the head region 14. The leg pairs 16 thus formed are spaced apart from one another and secured in their relative position to one another via cross members 18.

The legs 10, 12 are rod-shaped or tubular plastic-like or metallic bodies and are supported on the floor 24 via end support devices (Figures 2, 3, 4 and 5). In order to make the metallic legs 10, 12 corrosion-resistant when used, they are preferably galvanized or coated with a plastic sheath.

However, it is also conceivable to design the legs as a flat material, preferably with a t-shaped cross-section, so that the cover can be securely anchored.

The cross members 18 extend through through holes 20, 22 of the legs 10, 12, with their end sections 54, 56 being supported in the through holes 20, 22. Thus, one cross member length corresponds approximately to the distance between two pairs of legs 16. Like the legs 10, 12, the cross members are also made of plastic or metal in the form of rods or tubes and are designed to be weatherproof. The through holes 20, 22 are designed as twin holes so that the frame can be easily extended by adding new pairs of legs 16. Preferably, each leg 10, 12 has three twin holes, whereby the legs 10, 12 are supported against each other by three cross members 18 each.

Furthermore, the legs 10, 12 can essentially be laid on top of one another when dismantled, so that only a small amount of storage space is required.

The flexibility of the bed protection 2 according to the invention can be further increased if the legs 10, 12 are designed telescopically so that their axial length can be changed.

Figure 2 shows a pair of legs 16 from Figure 1 with two legs 10, 12 that are connected to one another in an articulated manner in the head region 14. The articulated connection 26 is designed in such a way that it can be easily adjusted, e.g. by means of a wing nut. Furthermore, the articulated connection 26 can have a locking device so that the legs 10, 12 can be automatically locked in certain preselected locking positions 0.

At the end in the foot area 2 8, a support device 30, 32 is provided on each leg 10, 12 for supporting the legs 10, 12 on the ground 24. In this embodiment, the support devices 30, 32 are designed as ground spikes, which preferably extend perpendicular to the ground 24 and thus obliquely to the longitudinal axis of the legs 10, 12.

Figure 4 shows an embodiment of a preferred

Support device 30, which represents a combination of the embodiment according to Figure 2 with the embodiment according to Figure 3. The support device is basically a U-profile 34, the side cheeks 36, 38 of which, however, are designed as two teeth 42, 44 each.

Thus, it is possible to secure the bed protection by gripping a bed border 40 in sections as well as by driving the teeth 42, 44 into the ground 24.

Figure 5 shows an embodiment of a support device 30 in which an angle 46 is flanged to the legs 10, 12 in the foot area 28, which is supported in sections on the floor 24 by an arm 46. For additional security, the arm 46 can be fixed in position via pins 50 which extend through holes 52 in the arm 46 and into the floor 24.

All support devices 30, 32 can be formed in one piece with the legs 10, 12 or can be connected to them in a fixed or detachable manner. Furthermore, the support devices can be connected to the legs 10, 12 in an articulated manner so that they can be adapted to the respective inclination of the legs 10, 12 and enable optimal support on or in the floor 24.

Disclosed is a bed protector for beds with a cover for covering the bed and with a frame for supporting the cover, wherein the frame has at least two legs connected to one another in a y-joint manner.

Claims (11)

1. Bed protection for beds with a cover for covering the bed ( 4 ) and with a frame ( 8 ) for supporting the cover, characterized in that the frame ( 8 ) has at least two legs ( 10 , 12 ) which are connected to one another in an articulated manner. 2. Bed protection according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of adjacent legs ( 10 , 12 ) can be connected to one another via cross members ( 18 ). 3. Bed protection according to one of the preceding protection claims, wherein the legs ( 10 , 18 ) are metallic or plastic rod-like bodies with through-holes ( 20 , 22 ) for receiving the cross members ( 18 ). 4. Bed protection according to claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein the legs are designed telescopically. 5. Bed protection according to one of the preceding protection claims, wherein a support device ( 30 , 32 ) is provided on each of the legs ( 10 , 12 ) for supporting the legs ( 10 , 12 ) on the ground ( 24 ). 6. Bed protection according to claim 5, wherein the support device is designed as ground spikes ( 30 , 32 ) which can be inserted into the ground ( 24 ). 7. Bed protection according to protection claim 5, wherein the support device is designed as U-profiles ( 34 ) so that a bed border ( 40 ) can be grasped in sections. 8. Bed protection according to protection claim 7, wherein side walls of the U-profiles ( 34 ) are formed with teeth ( 42 , 44 ) which can be inserted into the ground ( 24 ). 9. Bed protection according to claim 5, wherein the support device is designed as an angle ( 46 ) which is supported on the ground ( 24 ). 10. Bed protection according to claim 9, wherein the angles ( 46 ) can be fastened in the ground ( 24 ) via pins ( 50 ). 11. Bed protection according to one of the preceding protection claims, wherein the cover is a transparent plastic film, preferably with ventilation holes.
