Abstract

The width of a boot (1) with a high shaft (4) depends on the size of the foot and can result in a loosely fitting shaft for a person with big feet but slim legs. The new design of a boot (1) is provided with a stretch insert (13) along the front (3) of the shaft (4). The insert (13) can be an integrated part of the lining or attached separately. It extends horizontally when the boot (1) is pulled on and attaches itself close to the lower leg, preventing the creation of a gap between the inner surface of the boot (1) and the trousers.

Description

Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf einen Stiefel mit einem Fußteil und einem Schaft und mit einem als Schaft dienenden oder im Schaft befindlichen Schlauchkörper aus flexiblem Material zur Umhüllung von Partien des Fußes und Schenkels. Der Schlauchkörper kann hierbei das Stiefelfutter sein, er kann aber auch ein weiches Stiefel-Außenmaterial sein; und der elastische Materialstreifen ist vorzugsweise innen am Schlauchkörper befestigt, er kann jedoch auch ein als Teil des Schlauchkörpers in diesen eingesetzter Längsstreifen sein, also praktisch ein Zylindersegment des Schlauchkörpers, dessen restliches, nicht dehnbares Gewebe beiderseits an seinen Längsrändern ansetzt. Sofern der Schlauchkörper das Stiefelfutter ist, ist die Dimensionierung so gewählt, daß der elastische Materialstreifen seine maximal ausgenützte Erstreckung, insbesondere Quererstreckung dann hat, wenn das Futter einschließlich diesem Materialstreifen rundherum an der Innenseite des äußeren Schaftmaterials anliegt. Ein Stiefel 1 gemäß den Figuren weist einen Fußteil 2, einen Ristbereich 3, einen Schaft 4 und eine oberseitige Einstiegsöffnung 5 auf. Fig. 6 zeigt in einer Schnittansicht entsprechend Fig. 2 einen Stiefel mit etwas anderer Federcharakteristik des Materialstreifens 13. Er ist zumindest im Bereich der Schnittebene noch ohne Querspannung und sogar von leicht bogenförmigem Verlauf, so daß das Futter 12 nicht vom Außenmaterial 11 weggezogen wird. Claims

1. Boot ( 1 ) with a foot part, an instep area ( 3 ) and a shaft ( 4 ) and with a tubular body ( 12 , 23 ) serving as the shaft or located in the shaft and made of flexible material for covering parts of the foot and thigh, characterized in that a material strip ( 13 ) with an elastic stretchability in the tangential direction of the tubular body is located along an axially parallel longitudinal strip ( 14 ) of the tubular body ( 12 , 23 ).

2. Boot according to claim 1, characterized in that the elastic material strip ( 13 ) is a rubber strip with transverse contraction.

3. Boot according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the elastic material strip ( 13 ) is attached to the inside of the tube body ( 12 , 23 ).

4. Boot according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the tubular body with the elastic material strip ( 13 ) is part of a boot lining ( 12 ).

5. Boot according to claim 4, characterized in that the boot lining ( 12 ) located in the boot shaft has a smaller cross-sectional area than the surrounding shaft over most of the length of the running area of this material strip in the horizontal planes in the contracted state of the elastic material strip ( 13 ).
