1. Vorrichtung zur Überwachung und Reglung der Brems- und Rücklichter von Kraftfahrzeugen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Glimmwendel der Leuchtmittel während ihres Betriebs überwacht (1) werden. Der Defekt eines oder mehrerer Glimmwendel signalisiert (2) wird und - wenn nur ein Brems- und Rücklicht (3, 4) vorhanden ist, im Defektfall des Rücklichtes (4), das Bremslicht (3) derart gedimmt eingeschaltet (5) wird, so dass es die Funktion des Rücklichtes (4) übernimmt.
