Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung besitzt eine Hülle, die eine Öffnung zum Einsetzen eines nicht aufgeblasenen Spielzeugballons besitzt. Im aufgeblasenen Zustand des eingesetzten Spielzeugballons besitzt die Hülle im wesentlichen eine Form, bei der die Elemente entlang von Kanten und Ecken aneinanderstoßen. Die Hülle für den Ballon ist also so geformt, daß im aufgeblasenen Zustand des Spielzeugballons mehrere aneinanderstoßende Flächen entstehen, die in sich gewölbt oder eben Kanten und Ecken miteinander bilden. Bevorzugt besitzt die Hülle im aufgeblasenen Zustand Würfel-, Quader- oder Tetraederform. Gerade bei der Würfelform hat sich herausgestellt, daß diese für das Spiel von Kindern besonders gut geeignet ist und auch als Sitzkissen verwendet werden kann. Vorzugsweise besitzt der Würfel sechs unterschiedliche Farben, kann aber auch einfarbig sein. Die Hülle kann mit Stiffstiften individuell gestaltet werden, mit Punkten, Zahlen, Namen, Buchstaben und dergleichen. Fig. 1 zeigt eine würfelförmige Hülle für einen Luftballon. Die Hülle 10 besitzt 6 Seitenelemente 12, die im aufgeblasenen Zustand des Luftballons ausbauchen. Die Seitenelemente 12 besitzen eine quadratische Form und sind entlang ihrer Kanten 16 mit den Kanten der Nachbarelemente verbunden. Selbst bei einer stark ausgebauchten Hülle verleihen die Kanten 16 der Hülle eine würfelförmige Gesamtform.
