Hanging bracket for a radio telephone Description

The invention relates to a hanging holder for a radio telephone.

The term radio telephone refers to the handsets commonly referred to as cell phones, which have now become widely used in both professional and private areas.

In recent times in particular, it has been possible to miniaturize these handsets to very compact formats and at the same time improve their technical properties. Various manufacturers offer a wide range of cell phones in different sizes and shapes. For almost every type of cell phone, you can buy a cover or a bag made of leather, imitation leather or plastic from accessories retailers. These conventional cell phone bags are adapted in size and design to the respective cell phone types. Such an adaptation can, for example, consist of the cell phone bag having a transparent viewing panel that allows a view of the display of the cell phone held in the bag. Such an adaptation can also consist of the bag having cutouts or transparent areas above the control buttons of the cell phone so that the cell phone in the bag can be operated. The known cell phone bags usually have a base part, side parts and a lid that can be opened as required, so that they can essentially surround a cell phone on all sides. Furthermore, conventional mobile phone cases are often provided with straps or similar, which allow the case to be attached to an item of clothing, for example to a belt, of the user.

In this respect, such conventional cell phone cases can also be described as hanging holders for cell phones.

The invention is based on the object of providing a hanging holder which enables a hanging transport of the mobile phone, offers the mobile phone a secure hold and can be combined with mobile phones of different sizes and designs without significantly impairing the operation of the mobile phone in question.

To achieve this object, the invention proposes that the hanging holder means has an elastically stretchable loop section into which the radio telephone can be inserted when the loop section is elastically expanded in order to produce a clamping connection between the radio telephone and the loop section, in which the loop section surrounds the radio telephone like a banderole, and that a connecting element is further provided on the loop section for hanging the loop section equipped with a radio telephone on a carrier.

To attach the hanging holder according to the invention to a radio telephone, the user can spread the loop section with his fingers and then pull it onto the radio telephone housing, for example from the top of the radio telephone, until the loop section is in a desired position.

In one embodiment of the attachment means according to the invention, it can be provided that the loop section surrounds the radio telephone in question in an area in which no operating elements or functional elements of the telephone are provided.

A preferred embodiment provides that the loop section is essentially strip-shaped, the strip width being, for example, in the range of 20 mm to 40 mm. In the intended use

In this arrangement, the strip loop should surround the radio telephone in question in the area of the display. In order to enable a view of the display, it is proposed that the strip loop be made of a substantially transparent material and/or have hole cutouts.

The hanging holder according to the invention does not affect the usability of the radio telephone in question. The hanging holder can be designed in such a way that it has a visually discreet effect on the radio telephone. On the other hand, a hanging holder according to the invention also offers the possibility of giving the radio telephone in question a more interesting appearance as a design element.

Due to the rubber elasticity of the loop section, the hanging holder according to the invention can adapt to different mobile phone sizes and is therefore more universally applicable than known hanging holders, for example in the form of conventional mobile phone cases.

The connecting element provided on the loop section can be, for example, a tab element to which, for example, a collar, a belt clip and/or a key ring can be attached.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the connecting element is a collar formed integrally with the loop portion.

The material for the loop section and preferably for the complete attachment device is preferably silicone rubber or silicone latex.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the loop section is a closed, circumferential band. According to a modification of the invention, the loop section can have a separation point with closure means on the circumference.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the figures.

In Figures 1a and 1b, the attachment means 1 is shown in its intended position on a radio telephone 3. The loop section 5 is pulled onto the radio telephone housing in such a way that it surrounds the radio telephone 3 in the area of its display 7 like a banderole. The loop section 5 essentially has the shape of a strip band closed into a loop with a strip width b.

The attachment means 1 is designed to be rubber-elastic, particularly in the area of the loop section 5, and is dimensioned such that, in its intended arrangement, it sits clamped on the radio telephone 3 in question.

Preferably, the attachment means 1 is made of silicone rubber or silicone latex.

The loop section 5 is largely transparent so that it allows a view of the display 7 of the radio telephone 3 and yet provides protection for the display 7. In the rear view according to Fig. 1b, a connecting element arranged on the loop section 5 is

element 8 can be seen, which is a printed tab section which has a tab opening 10 at its outer end, which is at the top in Fig. 1b, for fastening a collar or the like.

The hanging holder means 1 thus enables the radio telephone 3 to be transported hanging, for example on a collar, whereby it offers a secure hold for the radio telephone 3 without impairing its operability. The keys 14 of the telephone 3 are in fact easily accessible and the display 7 is visible. Furthermore, the function of the microphone (not shown) and the loudspeaker of the radio telephone 3 are not impaired by the hanging holder means.

In particular, the attachment means according to Figures 1a and 1b has a very discreet optical effect, while positively influencing the design of the radio telephone 3.

It should also be pointed out that the hanging holder means 1 according to the invention does not interfere with the handling of the radio telephone 3 and can easily remain on the radio telephone 3 if, for example, the latter is temporarily used as a table device and hanging transport is temporarily out of the question.

All the advantages mentioned above also apply to the embodiment shown in Figures 2a and 2b. Elements in Figures 2a and 2b which correspond in terms of their structural significance or their effect to elements of the embodiment shown in Figures 1a and 1b are marked with corresponding reference numerals, so that with regard to the explanation of the embodiment shown in Figures 2a and 2b, reference can essentially be made to the description of the embodiment shown in Figures 1a and 1b. Figures 2a and 2b show larger hole cutouts 9 in the strip-shaped loop section 5, which in the arrangement shown extend over the narrow sides 11 of the radio telephone 3. These hole cutouts 9 can be useful in several respects. On the one hand, they make it easier to widen and pull the loop section 5 over the radio telephone 3. In addition, these cutouts 9 also characterize the design of the combination of radio telephone 3 and hanging holder 1 to a certain extent. It should also be mentioned that in the intended arrangement of the hanging holder 1 according to Figures 2a and 2b, areas 15 of the radio telephone 3 remain exposed, in which some types of radio telephone have operating elements, such as side volume controls, push buttons or the like. The display areas 17 on the outside are also exposed, which is also an advantage, since these display areas are used in numerous types of radio telephones to display, for example, the reception field strength and the battery charge level. These displays are often very small, so that unimpaired visibility should be guaranteed. This is achieved with the embodiment according to Fig. 2a and 2b. The loop section 5 is transparent towards the display. However, a certain amount of shading can be provided and may even be desirable for design reasons. In variants of the embodiments shown, the attachment means is slightly colored for optical design reasons without losing transparency.

The material thickness of the attachment means can vary over different areas of the loop section 5 or the connecting element 8 in accordance with the mechanical requirements. For example, it can be provided that the loop section 5 is comparatively thin in the area 19 that lies above the display 7, whereas the connecting section 8 has a greater material thickness in order to ensure the required mechanical strength.

For reasons of mechanical durability, linear edge thickenings 21 of the attachment means 1 can also be provided, which act in particular as crack barriers.

A particular advantage over conventional solutions is that the attachment means 1 according to the invention is material-saving and inexpensive to manufacture. It does not significantly increase the weight or volume of the radio telephone 3 combined with it. Due to the elasticity of the loop section 5, the loop section can be adapted to mobile phones of different sizes.

When not in use, i.e. when separated from the radio telephone, the attachment means according to the invention can be folded up to a very small volume and stored in a wallet or the like.

It should also be noted that the trailer mounting means 1 can have an optically magnifying element, for example an integrated or separately applied magnifying glass element, in the region 19 which extends above the display 7.

Claims (10)

1. A hanging device for a radio telephone, characterized by - an elastically stretchable loop section ( 5 ) into which the radio telephone ( 3 ) can be inserted when the loop section ( 5 ) is elastically expanded in order to produce a clamping connection between the radio telephone and the loop section, in which the loop section ( 5 ) surrounds the radio telephone ( 3 ) like a banderole, - and a connecting element ( 8 ) provided on the loop section ( 5 ) for hanging the loop section ( 5 ) equipped with a radio telephone ( 3 ) on a carrier. 2. A hanging holder for a radio telephone according to claim 1, characterized in that the loop section ( 5 ) is dimensioned such that, when the radio telephone is received therein, it covers less than 50%, in particular less than 30% of the outer surface of the radio telephone ( 3 ) towards the outside. 3. A hanging holder for a radio telephone according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the loop section ( 5 ) is essentially strip-shaped, the strip width being less than 50 mm, in particular less than 30 mm. 4. A hanging holder for a radio telephone according to claim 3, characterized in that the loop portion ( 5 ) has hole recesses ( 9 ). 5. Hanging holder means for a radio telephone according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the hanging holder means ( 1 ) is preferably formed in one piece from rubber-elastic material, in particular from silicone rubber or silicone latex. 6. A hanging holder for a radio telephone according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the loop section ( 5 ) is at least partially transparent. 7. A hanging holder for a radio telephone according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the connecting element ( 8 ) is a tab element with a tab opening ( 10 ) for attaching a collar, fastening clip, key ring or the like. 8. A hanging holder for a radio telephone according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is provided with an image and/or text, particularly in the region of the connecting element. 9. A hanging support means for a radio telephone according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it has different material thicknesses in different areas according to strength requirements. 10. A pendant holder for a radio telephone according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the connecting element is a collar formed integrally with the loop portion.
