Da am Grad die Dachziegel angeschnitten werden müssen, entstehen kleinere Ziegelstücke, die nicht mehr auf den Dachlatten aufliegen und keinen Halt mehr finden. Um diese zu stützen und zu befestigen wird die L förrnige Befestigungsklammer mit Einschiebehilfe und Haltenase aufgeschoben. In der Befestigungsklammer befindet sich ein Loch zur befestigung. Die Ziegel muß mit einem kleinen Flexschnitt, der rechtwinkelig zum Gradschnitt angeortnet wird versehen sein. Dort wird die Klammer so aufgeschoben, das die Haltenasen auf der Oberseite der Ziegel liegen und das Loch auf der Unterseite. Nun kann die Befestigung mittels einer Schraube die mit einer Unterlegscheibe versehen ist durch den Flexschnitt und durch das Loch das sich auf der Unterseite der Dachziegel befindet verschraubt werden. Schneidet sich die Schraube durch das Unterloch, zieht sich automatisch die Klammer an der Dachziegel fest, sobald der Schraubenkopf mit der Unterlegscheibe auf der Dachziegel auftrift, wird die Ziegel bei diesen Vorgang auf die richtige Höhe gehalten und die Schraube dringt ins Unterholz ein, bekommt die Dachziegel einen stabilen Stand und ist vom abrutschen gesichert. Somit werden die üblichen Arbeitsvorgänge wie anbohren der Dachziegel und Rastnägel setzen zur auflage der Dachziegel überflüssig.
