Claims

1. Storage compartment for use in a motor vehicle, with a holding device ( 1 ) for containers ( 2 ), such as cans or bottles, and with at least one front wall ( 3 ), a rear wall ( 4 ) and a base ( 5 ), characterized in that the front wall ( 3 ) is at least partially formed from an extendable holding flap ( 6 ) of the holding device ( 1 ), which has an opening ( 7 ) such that a container ( 2 ) held in the holding device ( 1 ) partially penetrates the opening ( 7 ).

2. Storage compartment according to claim 1, characterized in that the rear wall ( 4 ) is at least partially formed by a body structure ( 8 ) or by a panel ( 9 ) covering the body structure ( 8 ).

3. Storage compartment according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by an intermediate wall ( 11 , 12 ) or two intermediate walls ( 11 , 12 ) between the holding device ( 1 ) and one or two further compartment(s) ( 13 , 14 ), which preferably serves as a compartment ( 13 ) for receiving objects which are not containers ( 2 ), such as cards, documents or the like, and/or which form an end piece(s) ( 14 ) not intended for receiving objects.

4. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the retaining flap ( 6 ) is pivotally connected, preferably via hinges, to further sections ( 15 , 16 ) of the front wall ( 3 ), the base ( 5 ) and/or an intermediate wall ( 11 , 12 )/both intermediate walls ( 11 , 12 ).

5. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the holding flap ( 6 ), preferably via hinges, is pivotally connected to a base part ( 19 ) of the holding device ( 1 ), which forms at least a back part ( 18 ) and a bottom part ( 20 ) of the holding device ( 1 ).

6. Storage compartment according to claim 5, characterized in that the base part ( 19 ) forms side parts ( 21 a, 21 b) of the holding device ( 1 ).

7. Storage compartment according to claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the base part ( 19 ) can be fastened to a body structure ( 8 ) of the motor vehicle, preferably in a receiving recess ( 36 ) of the body structure, and/or to the rear wall ( 4 ), to the floor ( 5 ) and/or to an intermediate wall ( 11 , 12 )/both intermediate walls ( 11 , 12 ).

8. Storage compartment according to one of claims 5 to 7, characterized in that the hinges are arranged in the region of the base ( 5 ) and/or in the region of the base part ( 20 ) of the holding device ( 1 ).

Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the holding flap ( 6 ) encloses an acute angle (γ), preferably an angle (γ) of less than 60°, with the rear wall ( 4 ) or the back part ( 18 ) of the holding device ( 1 ) both in a first pivoting end position and in a second pivoting end position.

10. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the retaining flap ( 6 ) in a/the first pivoting end position is flush with the further sections ( 15 , 16 ) of the front wall ( 3 ) and thereby releases a free space (F) for the longitudinal positioning (L) of a seat ( 17 ) of the motor vehicle.

11. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the retaining flap ( 6 ) protrudes in a/the second pivoting end position relative to (the) further sections ( 15 , 16 ) of the front wall ( 3 ) and can thereby protrude into a/the free space (F) for the longitudinal positioning (L) of a/the seat ( 17 ).

12. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the retaining flap ( 6 ) in a/the first pivoting end position delimits a receiving space for a smaller container ( 2 ), such as a 0.33 l can.

13. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the retaining flap ( 6 ) in a/the second pivoting end position delimits a receiving space for a larger container ( 2 ), such as a 1.5 l bottle, at least like a 1 l bottle.

14. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the retaining flap ( 6 ) is under the action of at least one spring ( 25 ) which loads the retaining flap ( 6 ) in the direction of a/the first pivoting end position in which the retaining flap ( 6 ) preferably ends flush with (the) further sections ( 15 , 16 ) of the front wall ( 3 ).

15. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the retaining flap ( 6 ) is limited in one of the possible pivoting movements by at least one stop ( 29/30 , 31 ) at least in one of the first pivoting end positions, preferably in both pivoting end positions.

16. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 15, characterized in that a/the first pivoting end position and a/the second pivoting end position of the retaining flap ( 6 ) differ from one another by an angle (α) of approximately 7° to 20°, preferably of approximately 10°.

17. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 16, characterized in that the retaining flap ( 6 ) is covered on the outside by a panel ( 34 ) which is essentially adapted to its surface shape.

18. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 17, characterized in that a front clamping jaw ( 26 ) is fastened to the inside of the retaining flap ( 6 ).

19. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 18, characterized in that a rear clamping jaw ( 27 ) is fastened to the inside of the rear wall ( 4 ) or to a/the back part ( 18 ) of the holding device ( 1 ).

20. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 19, characterized in that the holding device ( 1 ) comprises an insert base ( 35 ), in particular made of elastomeric material.

21. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 21, characterized in that the retaining flap ( 6 ) has side walls (28a, 28b) which are guided in particular via guides ( 29 , 30 ), preferably on the base part ( 19 ).

22. Storage compartment according to one of claims 1 to 21, characterized in that the holding device ( 1 ) has a braking mechanism ( 32/33 ) for the opening movement, in particular for the pivoting movement, of the holding flap ( 6 ).
