Cleaning and storage unit that can be retracted into a kitchen base cabinet

Cleaning trolley

The invention relates to a cleaning and polishing trolley that can be moved into a kitchen base cabinet and has:

- a chassis with a floor and at least one support wheel,

- a handle,

and several storage compartments for cleaning utensils.

Mobile cleaning and polishing carts are known to be used in hospitals, large office buildings, industrial plants or large kitchens. The well-known cleaning and polishing cart usually consists of a chassis with variously arranged storage compartments for cleaning utensils and a handle. Such cleaning and polishing carts are oversized, take up a lot of space and are therefore not suitable for the average household.

The object of the invention is to design a novel cleaning and grooming trolley that is particularly suitable for small households and takes up little space.

This task is solved by a cleaning and polishing trolley that can be moved into a kitchen base cabinet and has at least:

a chassis with at least one spring-mounted support wheel,

- a front wall with a handle, - a rear wall,
a floor,

two side walls, of which at least one side wall is provided with recesses for access to several storage compartments for cleaning utensils,

- lateral guide rails for sliding along corresponding guides on the kitchen base unit,

and at least one cuboid-shaped, removable disposal container.

The cleaning and polishing trolley according to the invention has a very compact design that is adapted to the existing kitchen base cabinet. Because the trolley is provided with the side guide rails, it can be easily pushed into the base cabinet. Nevertheless, the trolley can be parked anywhere outside the kitchen base cabinet if at least two support wheels are available.

The guide rails, which are compatible with the existing guides on the kitchen base cabinet, can be installed at any height on the side wall.

The cleaning and grooming trolley can be equipped with at least one drawer and/or with a removable or pivoting lid.

The cleaning and polishing trolley can be made of sheet metal, plastic, wood or wood-based material or wire mesh. A design made of corrosion-resistant sheet metal and/or wire mesh is preferred, as the storage compartments can constantly come into contact with acidic cleaning agents.

In Fig. 1, a cleaning and polishing trolley 100, hereinafter referred to as trolley, is shown in simplified form, which comprises a chassis 2 with a single support wheel 1, a floor 9, a

Rear wall 6, two side walls 7.1, 7.2 and a front wall 5. Furthermore, a handle 8 is attached to the front wall 5 and a guide rail 36.1, 36.2 is attached to each of the two side walls 7.1, 7.2. The cuboid-shaped trolley is made of an acid-resistant material, in this case stainless steel sheet.

The trolley 100 is designed as a part of a kitchen base unit that can be pushed in and out, but cannot be pulled out completely from the base unit. The stability of the trolley is ensured by the side guides arranged in the upper area. The surface structure of the front wall 5 is adapted to the surface structure of the other kitchen base units.

On the right side wall 7.2, several rectangular recesses 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 are provided for access to the storage compartments 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 for cleaning utensils. The trolley 100 is also equipped with a removable, cuboid-shaped disposal container 31, which is placed inside the trolley via an upper opening 40. The disposal container 31 has a removable lid 26 shown in dashed lines.

Since the trolley 100 is open from above, a waste bag, such as a so-called yellow bag, can simply be placed inside the trolley if required instead of the disposal container 31. For this purpose, the trolley 100 has a larger inner compartment 27, which is located on the left side, i.e. opposite the side wall 7.2.

Fig. 2 shows another trolley (reference number 200) which differs from trolley 100 essentially in that a recess 19 for receiving a pull-out disposal container 30 is incorporated in the front wall 5. The disposal container 30 has a front wall 17 which, when pushed in, is flush with the front wall 5 of the trolley 200. Furthermore, Fig. 2 shows two flat storage compartments 16.1, 16.2 arranged one above the other above the disposal container 30. The guide rails 36.1, 36.2 are located in the lower area of the side walls 7.1, 7.2. In a further embodiment (not shown), the disposal container 30 is arranged on the trolley in a tiltable manner.

Figures 3 and 4 show a further embodiment of the trolley (reference number 300) with a plate-shaped front wall 5 adapted to the kitchen base cabinet 3 and with four support wheels 1. The storage compartments are formed by wire mesh elements 4 welded together. The support wheels 1 are each connected to the floor 9 via a spring element 18. If required, the mobile trolley 300 can be pulled out of the kitchen base cabinet 3 and placed anywhere. The spring elements 18 dampen the vibrations and jolts of the moving trolley 300 equipped with cleaning agents and utensils and make it easier to push the trolley back into the kitchen base cabinet 3.

Claims (8)

1. Cleaning and polishing trolley ( 100 ; 200 ; 300 ) which can be moved into a kitchen base cabinet, comprising: - a chassis ( 2 ) with at least one spring-mounted support wheel ( 1 ), - a front wall ( 5 ) with a handle ( 8 ), - a rear wall ( 6 ), - a floor ( 9 ) - two side walls ( 7.1 , 7.2 ), of which at least one side wall is provided with recesses ( 10 ; 11 , 12 ; 13 ; 14 ; 15 ) for access to several storage compartments ( 20 ; 21 ; 22 ; 23 ; 24 ; 25 ) for cleaning utensils, - lateral guide rails ( 36.1 , 36.2 ) for sliding along corresponding guides on the kitchen base unit, - and at least one cuboid-shaped, removable disposal container ( 30 ; 31 ). 2. Cleaning and polishing trolley according to claim 1, characterized in that the disposal container ( 30 ; 31 ) is cuboid-shaped. 3. Cleaning and polishing trolley according to claim 1 and 2, characterized in that the disposal container ( 30 ) can be pushed into the trolley through a recess ( 19 ) made on the front wall ( 5 ), and that its front wall ( 17 ) is flush with the front wall ( 5 ) of the cleaning and polishing trolley after being pushed in. 4. Cleaning and polishing trolley according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the removable disposal container ( 30 ) is arranged on the trolley in a tiltable manner. 5. Cleaning and polishing trolley according to claim 1 and 2, characterized in that the disposal container ( 31 ) can be placed into the interior of the trolley via an upper opening ( 40 ). 6. Cleaning and polishing trolley according to claim 1, characterized in that it is made of sheet metal and/or plastic and/or wood or wood-based material. 7. Cleaning and polishing trolley according to claim 1, characterized in that it is made at least partially from wire mesh. 8. Cleaning and polishing trolley according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is provided with a drawer and/or a preferably removable ceiling wall.
