Die Erfindung befaßt sich mit einem trifunktionalen Sessel, der die Funktion von drei unterschiedlichen Sesseln in sich vereinigt: einem Schaukelstuhl, einem Freischwinger und einem Entspannungsstuhl. Mit wenigen, einfachen Handgriffen läßt sich die Umwandlung des Sessels in einen Schaukelstuhl oder einen Entspannungsstuhl verwirklichen.Rocking chairs that are commonly used in home furnishings take up a lot of space. Mit der Erfindung wird erreicht, daß der Mechanismus zum Umwandeln des Sessels in einen Schaukelstuhl durch eine im Schutzanspruch 1 aufgeführte, verbesserte Achse derart gestaltet wird, daß eine kostengünstige Produktion ermöglicht wird. Die Achse besteht aus einem Stahlrohr mit Gewindebuchsen an den Enden oder aus einer durchgängigen Gewindestange, die in einem Rohr verläuft. Die Achse weist an beiden Seiten jeweils zwei Paar Klemmbacken, die jeweils das Fußrohr und das Rohr der Sitzrahmens umgreifen und eine Klemmschraube, z.B. ausgeführt als Sterngriff auf. Durch das Lockern der Klemmbacken mit der Klemmschraube ist ein Verschieben der Achse am Sitzrahmen und am Fuß des Sessels möglich. Es wird ein schnelles und einfaches Umwandeln des Sessels in einen Schaukelstuhl und eine variable Neigung der Sitzfläche erreicht. Zusätzlich kann an dem Sessel ein ausklappbares Kopf- und Fußteil montiert sein, wodurch sich der Sessel ein einen Entspannungsstuhl verwandeln läßt. Trifunktionaler Sessel, der durch ein Umdrehen des Fußgestelles, das Drehen des Sitzrahmens um die horizontale Achse und ein Verschieben des Sitzrahmens am Fußgestell sich in einen Freischwinger oder einen Schaukelstuhl umwandeln läßt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verschiebung und Drehung des Sitzrahmens (2) durch eine Achse (5) ermöglicht wird, die an beiden Enden jeweils zwei Klemmbackenpaare (5.2), (5.3) besitzt, wovon das eine Paar das Fußgestell (1) umgreift und das andere Paar die Längsstreben (3) des Sitzrahmens umgreift. 1.
