Benötigt man die Schlauchbrausegarnitur z.B. zum Duschen oder Reinigen, greift man die Handbrause (1) und zieht damit den daran verschraubten Brauseschlauch (2) aus dem Einbaukasten (3). Durch das Herausziehen des Brauseschlauchs dreht sich die Laufrolle (4) und ermöglicht das reibungslose ausziehen des Schlauchs. Automatisch schiebt sich die Laufrolle mit dem daran befindlichen Gewicht (5) in der Führungsschiene (6) nach oben, bis das Gewicht am Gummipuffer (7) anschlägt. Wird die Handbrause nicht mehr benötigt, führt man sie in Richtung der Schlauchaustrittsrosette (8). Durch das Verringern des Zuges am Brauseschlauch drückt das Gewicht die Laufrolle durch die Schwerkraft nach unten und zieht dadurch den Schlauch wieder in den Einbaukasten zurück. Durch den Abstandshalter (9) unter der Laufrolle lastet das Gewicht nicht auf dem Brauseschlauch. Ein unterer Gummipuffer (10) dämpft das Anschlaggeräusch des Abstandhalters. In dieser Führungsschiene (6) befindet sich ein Gleitstück (4.1), an dem eine drehbar gelagerte Laufrolle (4) und ein Gewicht (5) befestigt sind. Die Befestigung der genannten Objekte kann durch schrauben, nieten, kleben, etc. erfolgen. Das Gleitstück (4.1) ermöglicht die vertikale Bewegung der Laufrolle (4) und dem Gewicht (5). 1.
