The invention relates to a landing net which can be used in particular in aquaristics.

Such landing nets are well known. They consist of a frame, shaped like a triangle or square, with a net bag arranged around the circumference and a landing net handle.

The disadvantage of such a landing net is that when you take it out of the water, the nimble fish escape from the opening formed by the wire frame. In addition, there is little space in an aquarium to make quick landing net movements, the plants would be destroyed, the ground would be disturbed and the other fish would be frightened too.

The object of the invention is to design a landing net in such a way that fish can be isolated and taken out of the aquarium safely and without major landing net movements.

This object is achieved with the characterizing features of claim 1; advantageous embodiments are the subject of the subclaims.

In the landing net according to the invention, consisting of a circumferential bracket that forms the landing net opening, a net bag arranged on the circumference of the bracket and a landing net handle connected to the bracket, parallel guide rails are arranged on the outside of the bracket on both sides, or the bracket is formed by such guide rails in this area. In the guide rails, which are preferably U-shaped, there is a closing plate that can be moved in front of the landing net opening and can be moved by means of a rod that is guided on or in the landing net handle. The landing net can thus be lowered into the aquarium and then opened or opened beforehand. After the fish in question has swum into the net bag, the landing net is closed and can easily be removed from the aquarium together with the fish.

In a preferred embodiment of the landing net, the rod is guided in the landing net handle, whereby the landing net handle has a slot in the longitudinal direction in which a handle is arranged to slide and the handle has a fixed connection to the rod. The slot length is preferably dimensioned such that in the lower handle position the landing net opening is completely closed by the closure plate and in the upper handle position the landing net opening is completely or almost completely open.

Furthermore, in an embodiment of the invention, a spring is arranged in or on the landing net handle, which is tensioned when the locking plate is opened. The landing net can thus be closed under spring load and thus quickly.

The landing net shown consists of a circumferential bracket 1 which forms the landing net opening, a net bag 2 arranged on the circumference of the bracket 1 and a landing net handle 4 connected to the bracket 1. On both sides of the bracket 1 there are U-shaped guide rails 3 running parallel to the outside, in which the closure plate 5 which can be moved in front of the landing net opening is arranged so that it can slide. The closure plate 5 has a rigid frame and the area within the frame is designed like a net or perforated.

The locking plate 5 is moved by means of the rod 6, which is guided in the landing net handle 4. The landing net handle 4 has a slot 8 in the longitudinal direction in which the handle 7 is arranged so that it can slide, the handle having a fixed connection to the rod 6. The length of the slot is such that in the lower handle position the landing net opening is completely closed by the locking plate 5 and in the upper handle position the landing net opening is completely or almost completely open. In the upper part of the landing net handle 4 there is a spring 9, which is tensioned when the locking plate 5 is opened. The handle 7 can be locked to the landing net handle 4 when the locking plate 5 is in the open position.

Claims (7)

Landing net comprising a circumferential bracket which forms the landing net opening, a net bag arranged on the circumference of the bracket and a landing net handle connected to the bracket, characterized in that guide rails ( 3) running parallel on both sides are arranged on the bracket (1 ) , or the bracket ( 1 ) is formed in this area by such guide rails ( 3 ), a closure plate ( 5 ) which can be moved in front of the landing net opening is arranged so as to slide in the guide rails ( 3 ), and the closure plate ( 5 ) is movable by means of a rod ( 6 ) which is guided on or in the landing net handle ( 4 ). 2. Landing net according to claim 1, characterized in that the guide rails ( 3 ) are U-shaped. 3. Landing net according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the rod ( 6 ) is guided in the landing net handle ( 4 ), the landing net handle ( 4 ) has a slot ( 8 ) in the longitudinal direction, in which a handle ( 7 ) is slidably arranged, wherein the handle has a fixed connection to the rod ( 6 ). 4. Landing net according to at least one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a spring ( 9 ) is arranged in or on the landing net handle ( 4 ), which is tensioned when the closure plate ( 5 ) is opened. 5. Landing net according to at least one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the handle ( 7 ) can be locked to the landing net handle ( 4 ) in the open position of the closure plate ( 5 ). 6. Landing net according to at least one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the slot length is dimensioned such that in the lower handle position the landing net opening is completely closed by the closure plate ( 5 ) and in the upper handle position the landing net opening is completely or almost completely open. 7. Landing net according to at least one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the closure plate ( 5 ) has a rigid frame and the surface within the frame is designed to be net-like or perforated.
