Der Vorteil eines derartigen Behälters besteht darin, daß die konkaven Auflager, deren mittlerer Radius vorzugsweise größer als der Radius einer voll aufgewickelten Rolle ist, sorgt für eine hinreichende Führung der Rolle beim Abwickeln, so daß ein Verkanten beim Herausziehen des Verbrauchsmaterials vermieden wird. Dieses läßt sich dadurch leichter herausziehen und es kommt nicht zu einem unerwünschten Ab- oder Einreißen, wenn das noch nicht abgewickelte Verbrauchsmaterial auf den Auflagern ruht.
