Will man diese Rechner nach dem Stand der Technik in der vorstehend erwähnten Übergangszeit nach Zahlung in einer nationalen Währung zur Ermittlung des Wechselgeldes in Euro verwenden, so stellt sich hierbei ein gravierender Nachteil heraus: Jeder Wechselgeldbetrag muß nämlich durch Subtraktion des jeweiligen Rechnungsbetrages, etwa des Warenwertes, von dem zuvor durch Umrechnung ermittelten Betrages in Euro errechnet werden. Der jeweilige Kassierer muß also zunächst den noch in nationaler Währung bezahlten Betrag in Euro umrechnen und sodann den Rechnungsbetrag in Euro hiervon abziehen, um so den auszuzahlenden Wechselgeldbetrag in Euro zu erhalten. Durch Eingabe eines Wertes über die Zifferntasten 08 und anschließender Betätigung einer Zahl-Währungs-Stückelungs-Taste, vorzugsweise einer Banknotentaste 04 wird der dieser Taste 04 in der Zahl-Währung zugeordnete Betrag in Euro umgerechnet oder aber ein diesem Zahl-Währungsbetrag entsprechender Betrag in Euro abgerufen und automatisch von dem zuvor eingegebenen Betrag in Zahl-Währung subtrahiert. Claims
