Derartige "zusammenklappbar" ausgebildete Tische sind bspw. nach dem DE-Patent 608 641 bekannt. Unter zusammenklappbar ist hierbei zu verstehen, daß nach Heranschwenken der mit je einem Tischbein versehenen Querholme an den Grundrahmen die Tischplatte aus ihrer horizontalen Arbeitsposition in eine Vertikalstellung und zwar praktisch parallel zum Grundrahmen abklappbar bzw. herunterklappbar ist, um damit den Tisch raumsparend beiseite stellen zu können. Außerdem bietet eine derartige Tischkonstruktion durch die schenkbaren Querholme die Möglichkeit, unterschiedlich bspw. rechteckig, rund, halbrund, trapezförmig oder dgl. zugeschnittene Tischplatten auf dem Tischgestell anordnen zu können. Die Gelenke sowohl für die Tischplatte als auch für die Querholme sind beim Tisch nach der DE 608 641 als Gelenkbuchsen in Anpassung an den aus Rundrohr gebildeten Grundrahmen ausgebildet, wobei die Gelenkbuchsen für die Klappbewegung der Tischplatte mit profilierten GleitstückenSuch "foldable" tables are known, for example, from DE Patent 608 641. Claims

1. A collapsible table comprising a table top ( 1 ) with four legs ( 2 , 3 ), two of which ( 2 ) are connected to one another by a horizontal longitudinal beam ( 4 ) extending close to the table top and form a base frame ( 8 ), the table top ( 1 ) being connected to the longitudinal beam (4) by at least one joint ( 5 ) for optionally setting a substantially horizontal position of use or a substantially vertically folded-down position, and the two other legs (3 ) being pivotably connected to the base frame ( 8) by means of cross beams (9 ) and being designed to be fixable in the carrying position relative to the table top, characterized in that the at least one joint ( 5 ) is formed as a hinge from two interlocking coupling parts ( 6 , 7 ) which form an inseparable unit in the position of use of the table top ( 1 ) and which, in the folded-down position of the table top ( 1 ), designed to be decoupled without the need for additional tools.

2. Table according to claim 1 , characterized in that the coupling part ( 6 ) of the at least one joint ( 5 ) fastened to the table top (1) is fastened to a longitudinal edge region ( 1 ') of the table top ( 1 ).

Table according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the longitudinal beam ( 4 ) of the base frame ( 8 ) is set back by bent ends ( 4 ') in relation to the adjacent edge ( 1 ') of the table top ( 1 ) and the transverse beams ( 9 ) can be pivoted into the bay ( 21 ) of the longitudinal beam ( 4 ) thus formed.
