Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung der im Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Gattung.The invention relates to a device of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.

Claims

1. Device for issuing code numbers for radio telephones, lottery tickets or the like, characterized in that it contains at least one vending machine ( 1 ) which has an electronic code number memory which can be charged from a remote location for storing a preselected number of code numbers, an actuating mechanism ( 3 ), a money payment arrangement ( 7 ) and an output device ( 6 ) for the code numbers such that a code number can only be issued after a corresponding amount of money has been paid in beforehand.

2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the code number memory is designed as a component of a computer ( 2 ) arranged in the vending machine ( 1 ).

3. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a central computer ( 21 ) installed at a remote location is provided for loading the code number memory with code numbers.

4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the computer ( 2 ) and the central computer ( 21 ) are connected to one another via a fixed telephone network ( 18 ).

5. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the computer ( 2 ) and the central computer ( 21 ) are connected to one another via a radio telephone network.

6. Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the output device ( 6 ) is associated with a printer ( 5 ) connected to the computer ( 2 ).

7. Device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the output device ( 6 ) contains an interface connected to the computer ( 2 ) which is designed as an interface for the direct transmission of a code number to a radio telephone.

8. Device according to claim 7, characterized in that the interface is designed as an infrared interface.

9. Device according to claim 7, characterized in that the interface is designed as a plug/socket and is arranged for direct connection to a radio telephone.

10. Device according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that it contains a plurality of vending machines ( 1 ) designed according to one or more of claims 1 to 9 and connected to the same central computer ( 21 ).

Device according to claim 10, characterized in that the central computer ( 21 ) contains a main memory for a plurality of code numbers which can be distributed selectively to the code number memories of the vending machines ( 1 ) via the fixed telephone network ( 18 ) and/or the radio telephone network.

12. Device according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that it is provided with means for status checking.
