Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sicherheitsweste für Tiere, insbesondere für Pferde oder Hunde.The invention relates to a safety vest for animals, in particular for horses or dogs.

Die Aufgabe wird gemäß der Erfindung dadurch gelöst, daß die Sicherheitsweste einen Überzug aus einem netzartigen Material aufweist, der über eine vordere Schlaufe am Hals des Tieres und über eine hintere Schlaufe hinter dem Brustkorb des Tieres gehalten ist, und der mit wenigstens einer Signaleinrichtung versehen ist, die aktiv Licht sendet oder Licht reflektiert. Die Verwendung eines netzartigen Materials hat den Vorteil, daß auch längeres Fell niedergedrückt wird und die Signaleinrichtung nicht bedecken kann. Andererseits ist das netzartige Material luftdurchlässig, so daß das Tier sich hierdurch nicht gestört fühlt.
