Claims

1. Picture frame with:
a main body with an image holder for presenting an image, the image holder being provided with two opposing grooves on its inner wall;

a flat pressing member with sides of a thickness which is smaller than the width of the grooves, the pressing member being adapted in its shape to the image holder in which the pressing member is arranged in order to press the image to be presented, the pressing member being arranged in the image holder such that one side of the pressing member is acted upon by the elastic member and the other side of the pressing member is inserted into the groove.

Picture frame according to claim 1, characterized in that the pressing member is provided with a cut-out part through which the picture is visible and that the image holder is provided with a transparent glass pane arranged therein, so that the picture is pressed by the glass pane and the glass pane is pressed by the pressing member.

3. Picture frame according to claim 1, characterized in that the pressing member is a transparent glass pane.

4. Picture frame according to claim 1, characterized in that the elastic member is a spiral spring.

5. Picture frame according to claim 1, characterized in that one of the two grooves is provided with at least one insertion hole and that the elastic member is arranged in the one groove so that one end of the elastic member is secured in the insertion hole.

6. Picture frame according to claim 5, characterized in that one end of the elastic member is fixed in the insertion hole by means of an adhesive.

Picture frame according to claim 5, characterized in that the pressing member is provided with a semicircular cavity, the position of which corresponds to that of the elastic member, and that the elastic member is provided at its other end with a ball attached thereto, so that the ball is arranged in this cavity.

8. Picture frame according to claim 1, characterized in that the picture frame is rectangular.
