1. Seating arrangement for a piece of seating/reclining furniture, which has an upholstered backrest, an upholstered seat part and a base frame, the base frame being provided with side walls, on or in the inner sides of which guide tracks are provided, within which rollers run when the seat part is pulled out, which rollers are attached to a roller carrier firmly connected to the seat part, characterized in that the guide tracks ( 4 ) are bent in such a way that the rollers ( 6 ) run diagonally downwards within the guide tracks ( 4 ) in the first part of the pull-out path when the seat part ( 2 ) is pulled out, and run diagonally upwards in the second part of the pull-out path.

2. Seat extension according to claim 1, characterized in that the surface of the pulled-out seat part ( 2 ) forms a substantially flat lying surface at the end of the pull-out path.
