Protection claims

1. Outside door handle, consisting of a hollow body into which various switches, actuators, receivers, light sources (1-9) are introduced via cables and via whose door leaf connections (11) power and data lines are introduced.

2. Outside door handle according to claim 1, characterized in that several functions can be operated and various actions/reactions can be triggered via the switches, actuators, receivers (1-9) integrated in the outside door handle.

EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE

To date, external door handles are available on the market which are limited to enabling mechanical door opening.

There are door handles known that are equipped with wireless switches,

either installed in a door recess (DE-GM 78 05 339) or in the door handle (E o5 Bl/00), equipped

This switch can only be used to request a previously defined function that is only known to the initiated user group.

The above-mentioned invention aims to create a transparent, multi-functional user interface on an external door, integrated into an external door handle, which offers each user individual, transparent (visualization of the operating elements) and convenient operating options.

It is an integral door station that is optimized for space and operation.

The invention specified in claim 1 is based on the problem that in the conventional door situation the signaling system (bell), as well as the intercom system, nameplates, video optics, outside light switch and lock are installed externally.

This problem is solved with the features listed in claims 1, 2 and 3.

The invention enables the visitor to use the switches/actuators/receivers integrated in the door handle

a) the bell (3) associated with the nameplate (4) is pressed,

b) is then captured by video optics(l) and communicated via the integrated intercom system^),

c) requests the house light and the lighting frame for the insertion opening (7) via the integrated lighting switch (2), provided that these are not switched to permanent light via the integrated motion/twilight detector (9),

d) the authorised user unlocks or locks the door by inserting a chip card, transponder key or other device into the integrated insertion opening (6),

e) alternatively the door is unlocked or locked by means of a transmitter and receiver sensor (5).

The operating elements are dust and water-tight and are provided with backlit pictograms or illuminated switches in symbol form. They are operated either manually or by sensors.

The lighting of the control elements is switched via an integrated motion/twilight switch when it is not requested via a switch.

The power supply is operated via low voltage or protective extra-low voltage or battery voltage.

The voltage can be brought to the required point visibly via a cable path or invisibly via sliding contact on the hinges.

The corresponding data lines are led together with the power line to a technology module, which contains all switches, actuators, receivers and light sources; this is inserted into the cavity of the outside door handle.

The relay control or computer (BUS technology) to which the data lines are routed are installed externally.

Instead of a conductor rail/cable connection, it is also conceivable to realize a contactless data and/or energy transmission via inductive coupling.

The electronic lock unlocking is done using a chip card or transponder key, or alternatively via fingerprint/net skin reader.

The door can be operated by an authorized group of users using a transmitter via the integrated receiver sensor for automatic door opening (5).

All options are variable and can be provided as needed, so that either one or more functions can be operated via the door handle.

The user experience is optimized because all functions are in the immediate visual and voice range.

The optics capture the user from the front, as does the intercom microphone.

The control panel for the light switch and doorbell is located directly within easy reach.

When the door is released, the user's hand is already on the door handle, so that the usual delay (ringing the bell, speaking and rushing to the door when the automatic door opener sounds) is eliminated.

The external door handle according to the invention can be retrofitted to all commercially available door models; the supply routes for the power and data cables run through the door leaf.

By optimizing the space (accommodating the entire door station in one handle), the entire door situation can be planned differently.

The usual vandalism at door stations (graffiti, flaming, etc.) is eliminated.

The technology module is easy to use in case of malfunctions

All other technical solutions for introducing the technology module into the cavity of the outside door handle corresponding installation and inspection openings, such as introducing the technology module in the form of a sleeve into the cavity of the outside door handle, are conceivable.

A display can also be integrated into the door handle, which can show various functions/pictograms/text. This means that several functions can be assigned to a single control switch.
