High chair

The present invention relates to a high chair.

High chairs are known with two front foot plates, in which a safety frame can be inserted into two internal recesses if required. The distance between the safety frame and a backrest cannot be adjusted. High chairs are also known in which a table top is firmly attached to the chair frame and cannot be replaced by a safety frame.

An object of the present invention is to provide a high chair having a positioning/adjustment device for adjusting the space between a table and a backrest.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a high chair having a table &igr; which is easily replaced by a safety frame.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a high chair having a safety frame which can be easily replaced by a table.

The object of the invention is solved by the characterizing part of claims 1 to 4.

Referring to Figures 1 to 5, a high chair has a backrest 15 and two parallel front foot plates 11.

A positioning/adjustment device 2 is arranged on each of the two outer sides of the forefoot plates 11.

Each of the positioning/adjusting devices 2 comprises a hollow base block 21 and a positioning plate 22.

The hollow base block 21 has a pair of through holes 212, an inner groove 211, a pair of through holes 210, two lower supports 213 and a bottom hole 214.

Each end of the U-shaped frame 121 is inserted into the respective hollow base block 21.

The positioning plate 22 has an end pin 222 which is inserted into the bottom hole 214 of the hollow base block 21 and into one of the positioning holes 120 of the U-shaped frame 121, and two hinge pins 221 which are inserted into a space between the lower brackets 213.

The hollow base block 21 is connected to the respective forefoot plate 11 by means of two bolts 24 through the through holes 210 and the through openings 212.

A spring 23 is arranged between the hollow base block 21 and the positioning plate 22.

Referring to Figure 6, the table is replaced by a securing frame 13.

Referring to Figure 7, the two positioning/adjustment devices 2 are arranged on the two inner sides of the forefoot plates 11.

Claims (4)

1. A high chair comprising a backrest ( 15 ) and two parallel front foot plates ( 11 ), characterized in that:
a table ( 12 ) has a U-shaped frame ( 121 );
a plurality of positioning holes ( 120 ) are provided at both ends on the underside of the U-shaped frame ( 121 );
a positioning/adjustment device ( 2 ) is arranged on one side of each of the two forefoot plates ( 11 );
each of the positioning/adjusting devices ( 2 ) comprises a hollow base block ( 21 ) and a positioning plate ( 22 );
the hollow base block ( 21 ) has a pair of through holes ( 212 ), an inner groove ( 211 ), a pair of through holes ( 210 ), two lower supports ( 213 ) and a bottom hole ( 214 );
one end of the U-shaped frame ( 121 ) is inserted into the hollow base block ( 21 );
the positioning plate ( 22 ) has an end pin ( 222 ) which is inserted into the bottom hole ( 214 ) of the hollow base block ( 21 ) and into one of the positioning holes ( 120 ) of the U-shaped frame ( 121 ), and two hinge pins ( 221 ) which are inserted into a space between the lower support devices ( 213 );
two bolts ( 24 ) connect the hollow base block ( 21 ) and the forefoot plate ( 11 ) through the through holes ( 210 ) and the through openings ( 212 ); and
a spring ( 23 ) is arranged between the hollow base block ( 21 ) and the positioning plate ( 22 ). 2. A high chair according to claim 1, wherein the two positioning/adjustment devices ( 2 ) are each arranged on the outer sides of the front foot plates ( 11 ). 3. A high chair according to claim 1, wherein the two positioning/adjustment devices ( 2 ) are each arranged on the inner sides of the forefoot plates ( 11 ). 4. A high chair according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the table ( 12 ) is replaced by a securing frame ( 13 ).
