Previous combination furniture that combines table and chair either works

• by folding the table top towards the backrest, which thereby creates a seat that is firmly attached to the substructure,

• or by folding the back of a chair to create a stool or side table.

• or by folding a part of the table surface onto the seat level, creating an armchair

In all cases, the conversion of the furniture has resulted in a different piece of furniture, and the function of the original piece of furniture is only fulfilled in its original state. This means that it only ever functions as one piece of furniture.

The invention specified in the protection claim is based on the problem of creating a combination piece of furniture that, on the one hand, is a table with a stool, and on the other hand can be easily converted in a few simple steps to serve as an armchair and coffee table. In both cases, two functions are guaranteed.

The problem is solved by the features listed in the protection claim.

The invention means that the furniture can be used as a table with an integrated stool, or as an armchair and coffee table. Combined with a group of matching armchairs, the conversion of the table creates additional seating without having to do without a table.

An embodiment of the invention is explained with reference to Figures 1 to 5 in Appendix 1 and the illustration in Appendix 2:

Figure 1 - The furniture as a table with an integrated stool The table top (1) lies on a base frame, which serves as an armchair (Figure 2) on its own. The table top is not firmly connected to the base frame. On the underside of the table top (Figure 5) there are strips attached at such a distance that the armrest of the base frame (railing 3) fits exactly into their distance, so that the table top rests firmly on it and cannot slip. A stool is loosely integrated under the shelf (seat 5).

Without the table top (1) and stool (Figure 3), this frame can be used as an armchair.

Claims (3)

1. Table ( Fig. 1) consisting of a chair ( Fig. 2) as a base for the table top, a table top ( Fig. 5) and an integrated stool ( Fig. 3) in particular for conversion into a coffee table and an armchair, whereby - the table top ( Fig. 5) is easily removable but cannot be moved by means of strips attached to the underside, which are fixed in such a way that the railing of the chair or base frame ( Fig. 2) fits into their spacing, - the stool ( Fig. 3) can be used as a seat on the one hand and also serves to hold the table top ( Fig. 5) on the other hand, whereby the surface of the stool is cut to such an exact dimension that the strips attached to the underside of the table top enclose the table top when it is placed on the stool and thus cannot slip. 2. Armchair ( Fig. 2), according to claim 1, which becomes an additional seat after removing the table top. 3. Coffee table, according to claim 1, which is created by placing the table top on the stool ( Fig. 3).
