Es ist bekannt, bei Hockern einen Teil der Sitzfläche so zu verstellen, daß eine Sitzgelegenheit mit Lehne daraus entsteht. Die bisher be kannten Konstruktionen diese Art beruhen auf dem Prinzip, in den Kissen des Hockers Verlängerungen anzuordnen, die an einem Teil des Sitzes befestigt sind. Durch Hochziehen dieses Sitzteiles wird nun dieser Teil zur Eückenlehne. Die Konstruktion hat in dieser Art den Nachteil, daßeinmal nur Hocker mit 4 Füssen, eventuell noch 3 Füsse, Verwendung finden können und daß die Rückenstütze senkrecht herausgezogen wird, die Lehne hat also gegenüber dem Sitz keine Neigung wie es an und für sich beim Stuhl erstrebenswert ist. - Die Neuerung hat sich nun zur Aufgabe gemacht, einen Beschlag zu schaffen, der es ermöglicht, einmal Hocker auch nur mit einem Fuß, als Kreuz oder Trompetenfußhocker mit einer abklappbaren Rückenlehne zu versehen und der es zum anderen auch gestattet der Lehne eine Neigung zur Sitzfläche zu geben, um dadurch ein anatomisch richtiges und bequemes Sitzen zu gewährleisten. Erreicht wird dies durch einen Klappmechanismus, der unter der Hockersitzfläche montiert wird, und der einerseits einen Teil der Hockerfläche trägt und gleichzeitig gestattet, daß derselbe Teil verschwenkt wird um mit seiner gepolsterten Fläche als Rückenlehne zu dienen.
