Description
• ti ·• ti ·
Bicycle headlight (as in Figure 2) with light-emitting diode, operated by batteries or accumulators.
Bicycle headlights for racing bikes weighing less than 11 kilograms have, according to the state of the art (as in Figure 1), a light bulb (1) or a halogen lamp (1) in the reflector (2) and a battery compartment (3), since such light bicycles do not have, among other things, a dynamo.
Depending on the design (2 or more batteries or accumulators) and the batteries or accumulators used, such bicycle headlights are no longer operational after approximately 2 - 8 hours of operation because the batteries or accumulators no longer have sufficient electrical voltage. In practice, this means that with daily use, such a bicycle headlight will no longer function after a few days or weeks.
This problem is solved by the features set out in claim 1.
Akkumulatoren (3). Solch eine Leuchtdiode hat eine Stromstärke von 20 mA4. Such a bicycle headlight has a light-emitting diode (5) (as in Figure 2) instead of a halogen bulb (1) and a resistor of 27 Ω when using 3 batteries of 1.5 volts each, which are located in the battery compartment (3). In addition, the circuit is interrupted or closed by an electrical switch. The current flows from the batteries (3) or accumulators to the on/off switch, then to an electrical resistor and finally to the LED (5) and back to the batteries or accumulators (3). Such a light-emitting diode has a current of 20 mA.
The invention ensures that such a bicycle headlight remains functional for a hundred or more hours of operation.
1. Halogenglühlampe 6 V, 2,4 W.1. Halogen bulb 6 V, 2.4 W.
2. Reflektor.2. Reflector.
3. Batteriefach.3. Battery compartment.
4. Untere Gehäuseschale von zwei Gehäusehälften.4. Lower housing shell of two housing halves.
5. Leuchtdiode Sollspannung 3.6 V (max. 4,0 V), 20 mA5. LED nominal voltage 3.6 V (max. 4.0 V), 20 mA
