Dampfdruckkochtopf, mit einem für die Aufnahme von Kochgut bestimmen Behälter, welcher mit Hilfe eines auf den nach außen abgebogenen Behälterrand aufsetzbaren und mit diesem verriegelbaren Deckel, welcher nach oben gewölbt ist und eine einheitliche Deckeldicke aufweist, druckdicht verschließbar ist, welcher mittels eines an dem Deckel vorgesehenen Schließmechanismus, von einer Betätigungseinrichtung aus, von einer Öffnungs- in eine Verriegelungsstellung überführbar ist, in welcher der Deckel an seinem Umfang unter Zwischenlage eines umlaufenden Dichtungsringes gegen den Behälterrand gepreßt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Deckelunterseite insbesondere in der Nähe des Behälterrandes das Material umlaufend derart geformt und gestaltet ist, daß es eine Linie gibt, die bezogen auf ihre unmittelbare Umgebung die unterste ist und die eine radiale Entfernung von der Längsachse des Dampfdruckkochtopfs hat, die kleiner ist als die radiale Entfernung des Behälterrandes von dieser Längsachse. 1.
