Durch Falzen der Karte entlang der Falzlinie kann ein Teil der Ansichtsseite derart umgeklappt werden, daß das Textfeld verdeckt, das Anschriftenfeld aber weiter lesbar ist. Diese bekannte Postkarte mit Falzlinie löst aber das Problem des begrenzten für Texte u. dgl. zur Verfügung stehenden Raumes nicht. Zudem wird notwendigerweise ein nicht unwesentlicher Teil des Ansichtsfeldes umgefalzt, so daß solche Motiven, die eine gesamte Grundfläche der Karte einnehmen, im gefalzten Zustand nicht zur Gänze sichtbar sind.
