Der Ständer ist kastenförmig, da er die Laubsägeteile parallel nebeneinander aufnimmt und eine gewisse Höhe aufweist, um die Motive besser sichtbar zu machen. Dabei kann die Motivplatte einen ausgefrästen Schriftzug oder ein Weihnachtsmotiv aufweisen, wobei der Schriftzug bzw. das Weihnachtsmotiv von hinten beleuchtet wird.
