Die Erfindung betrifft ein physiotherapeutisches Gerät für eine Bewegungstherapie des menschlichen Knies.The invention relates to a physiotherapeutic device for movement therapy of the human knee.
Bewegungseinschränkungen des menschlichen Knies treten häufig nach Unfällen und Operationen am Knie auf, können jedoch auch auf Gelenkverschleiß und Arthrose zurückzuführen sein. Dann bewegt der Krankengymnast den Unterschenkel unter gleichzeitig ausgeübtem Zug hin und her. Dieser Zug muß so stark .sein, daß die Knochenteile des Gelenkes einander nicht mehr berühren. Dadurch erreicht der Krankengymnast, daß sich Gelenkflüssigkeit zwischen die Knorpel- und Knochenteile des Gelenkes schiebt und sich hier ansiedelt. Diese Ansied lung zieht meist auch eine Neubildung von Knorpelmasse an dieser Stelle nach sich, die so ausreichend sein kann, daß der Patient als geheilt gelten kann wobei die zwischen die Knochen und die Knorpelmasse eingedrungene Gelenkflüssigkeit nicht nur eine "Schmierungsfunktion" des Gelenkes übernimmt, sondern auch einen Nährboden für die Bildung neuer Knorpelmasse bildet.Diese Behandlung kann auch bei Kontraktionen der Gelenkkapsel zur Anwendung kommen.Restrictions in the movement of the human knee often occur after accidents and operations on the knee, but can also be caused by joint wear and tear and arthrosis.
