Abstract

The pocket calculator allows conversion of a specific amount of currency to be converted into a different one. In particular one set of keys are used to Euro into Deutschmark and a second set for Deutschmark into Euro. The result is shown on a display.

Es ist bekannt, daß durch Einführung der europäischen Währungsunion zum 1.1.1999 die Notwendigkeit entsteht, für die Übergangszeit bis zum Jahre 2002 (voraussichtlich 30.06.2002), zwischen den in der Übergangszeit weiterhin gültigen nationalen Währungen der teilnehmenden Ländern und der gemeinsamen Währung Euro Beträge umzurechnen. Weiterhin ist bekannt, daß die Umrechnung zwischen den nationalen Währungen und dem Euro mit fest vorgegebenen Faktoren erfolgen muß und die Anzahl der zu verwendenden Nachkommastellen ebenfalls festgelegt ist.
